from the program or xbmc?

- kricker - 2009-04-27

I'm re-upping the build now. Hang on.

- kricker - 2009-04-27

Try now.

I just tested it, and it's working fine now. I'm not sure what was wrong with it earlier.

Hello.
Any tips how to prevent standby when updater runing (downloading new build)?

the reason that you don't see the current running version is because XBMCupdate will only know the current version if it has installed it, so basically you will get a local version after your first successful update. Wink

I have tried several times, the same error always. But I can download from that page manually. Here is the latest log.

Any other way to find out which build of XBMC I currently have? Thanks.

In PM3HD you go to the power menu and choose the info button. There you should see the revision you are running.

I'll try it this evening, thanks.

I've tried it for a few hours, and after all that time, it shows 50 of 100... i've not waited more to see what happens when it's finished, should i do it?

regards

- CrashX - 2009-04-28

Did it move slowly from 0 to 50 ? At the beginning, it should take a minute to startup to 0 of 100 and then it should move pretty fast ...

What is your connection speed ? Does windows update work on your machine ?

- azido - 2009-04-28

so basically this means i should avoid using this tool as i have a german version of windows vista?

No, you should try it and report your issues that way it can be fixed to work with all language versions if possible.

Can anyone using a non english version of windows report here if it works fine?

My connection speed is DSL 20Mb down and yes, windows update works perfectly here.
