I have planned a series of 'presets' for imposing more control of which views and styles appear when. It's tricky, though, and will only be done when everything else is in place.

Aeon doesn't support those kinds of remote shortcuts yet. The Main Menu options actually set some of the variables those views require.

It'd be useful to know when do you think a feature, or a view is ready to be tested. Lots of requests/bugfixes are probably in your agenda beforehand, so they are just noise.
So: "people, I finished this view/feature, ready, steady, test!" Otherwise, lots of futile requests will emerge, no matter how good your ignore filter is.

I just downloaded the latest Auriga from github and on loading, my nice dvd cover type images for my TV Shows were gone, represented by 16:9 type images, they were the same images just cropped into 16:9 boxes, is that right?
Also there doesn't seem to be any option to change the view type for TV Shows anymore, I'm stuck with Multiplex.
One final thing, changing the views in Movies doesn't work at all, whatever I select I get the wall view.
I'm re-downloading to try again and I'll let you know what happens.

I've been thinking and trying out various ways of using the custom 16x9 images without disturbing the current folder.jpg but I've not had much luck. I did get the fanart images displayed along the bottom but they looked awful scaled down that small.
The only other thing I can think of is to use the Skin.String(name) label in a similar way to the user defined backdrops.
I'm not even sure if this is possible but the general idea would be to call up the Skin.SetImage label (maybe from the 'S' menu) when over a TV show and let the user select the 16x9 image for that particular show. The images could easily be stored in one folder and just named after the show/season.
Like I said, I don't have a clue if it's possible but it just an idea.
EDIT: It would stop you getting a lot of posts like the one above.

OK I re-downloaded and made a new folder in my skins folder for Auriga. I still have the same problems, Showcase and List are not selectable as views, they take me straight back to Wall view.
Can anyone help me fix it please?

Also without re-enabling that particular setting it isn't possible to even TRY and select a different view for TV Shows. So that fact, plus the fact that I said that that problem was with my "Movies" view should have given you a hint :p

Even after having re-enabled the other views "for TV Shows" in the settings menu my original problem remains, the other views seem to be disabled for "Movies" as well and altering that setting hasn't re-enabled them.
Can anyone help me fix it please?

i did just did a git pull and played around with the new multiplex view for tv shows .. and i got to say .. i love it (with having other views possible)
they way i set my thing up is to have tv show and season level as showcase and multiplex for episode level and this setup ROCKS .. no need to remake any posters/banners ... HUGE fan of the new setup djh
only thing i noticed is that maybe the auto info box in mutliplex could pop up a smidgen faster .. but i figure that is a very easy fix later in the development of that part of this part of the skin
