exobuzz, I have the subtitles now working with both EastEnders and Sherlock using xml.etree.ElementTree, I am not sure if it is 100% trustwrthy, but it works - for me.
PM me your email-address and I'll send you the relevant code part, if you want to take a look at it.

Cheers,
Alex

Cool, thanks. Please open a ticket and post a diff and we will review and apply.

Cheers

Can't find a ticket system on the project site. Are "Issues" the same?
Do you know a way how to create the diff file directly on the pi? I backupped the original file, so that should not bei a problem...

I opened Issue 132, can you please check if that is ok?

I know that Tunlr works for all non-live stuff yet you can watch live with this method:

https://tunlr.net/forums/topic/how-to-bbc-live-streams-using-tunlr/

Yet it seems this method only works with the HDS streams not the RTMP the plugin is attempting to do.

Is there anyway to get the HLS streams to be implemented into the plugin?

EDIT: Just seen in another thread, XBMC doesn't support HDS. So I guess nevermind.

First post here, and can I say thank you! Get plugin and working well on my little Pi (Model B rev 2)

Also using tunlr.net DNS for catchup and don't need the live as I have them for free via Satellite STB also running Linux based OS.

Also interested in having the subtitles stable, not sure I even turned them on ?? Is it via settings ? Need to look better, Anyways it's not because I'm deaf but just used to having them on the sat box and also the volume is set low at night and I can still follow a programme.

Hi,

Ive had a look through this thread and searched generally for answers. Im also receiving the "Script failed" error when trying to use any of the 'watch live' channels, specifically BBC News. I also get "Playback failed" when trying to open the watch again content. I am running Raspbmc 3.10 and XBMC 12.2. Any advice would be appreciated.

Oh, I'm in Scotland but my IP registers as Derby in England, so not a geolocation issues.

Thanks

you need to post a debug log. (via xbmclogs.com or similar)

RE: [RELEASE] iPlayer - BBC Video and Music Plugin (UK only!) - Monotoko - 2014-01-18

This is driving me mental, I can see all the folders in each of the channel folders, for example if I click "BBC One" I can see "Sherlock (3)" as a folder however when I go into each one, it's empty except for "..". I'm in Video Addons and my IP registers in the UK, so I have no idea what the hells gone wrong. I can watch Live TV from it, but that's it.

I've reinstalled it several times, and I'm using 2.5.4 from here: https://code.google.com/p/xbmc-iplayerv2/downloads/list

Edit: Also tried with 2.5.2.. same result.

Unfortunately I'm going to have to remove iPlayer from my repo because my account gets disabled due to the traffic caused by it, so if someone could take it over that would be great.

Thanks.

Please submit this to the official xbmc repo to stop these problems.
