Hi, hope someone here can help, is it possible to add a shortcut to the Video's menu ie, like the way that the TV Shows and Movies are shown as submenus?

Many Thanks

Depends on what skin you're using, but yes. If you look at this post and infact the pages before it, it'll tell you where to start.

Any updates on when this will work with the new addon system girbil?

- dj_gerbil - 2010-08-26

Sorry, been away for a couple of days meeting up with the guys from TVC for a chat face to face. Home now so I'll hopefully be able to sit down and try to get something worked out this weekend.

Any Updates mate. Also this doesnt seem to work with the xbox anymore. dont know if the plugin is broken or if its the xbox. however the xbox under went some changes and got it working again but it has since stopped working. could it be an API change on the site or something, thats making way for the dahrma addon compatability?

Dharma compatible realese is nearly ready, just got a little bug that's apeared to work out. As for not working on the XboX, I've had a couple of reports about this over at TVC. I've done some checking and I'm really not sure why its broke as the only thing that's been changed has nothing to do with the RTMP side of things, but I am looking into it and hope to have some answers soon.

Hi guys I am new to the forum, unfortunately tvcatchup is not supported in Canada, was unable to create an account at TCAT. (is there a way around this?)

Id like to locate a script for my area, any help would be
appreciatedBig Grin

It only works in the UK

I don't know the canadian equivalent but if you know the name of something similar they may be one out for that.

Also can't wait for the Dharma compatible release, I have crappy reception in my bedroom so this IS my freeview box ha.

Also will there be support for the High Quality streams tvcatchup are trialling?

You would need a UK VPN, so that you would appear to be in the UK as far as TvCatchup are concerned - about $55 a year..

While trying not to sound like one of those people that nag about release dates:

[Windows] Help getting a plugin to work - TVCatchUp - Indyvidual - 2010-10-21

OK guys im still relatively new to XBMC. Have my movies and tv shows setup working correctly.

The problem I have currently is that I cant seem to get the tvcatchup plugin to work. The site with the info is here:

http://plugins.tvcatchup.com/~xbmc/

Here is the link to forum page:
http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=51575&highlight=tvcatchup

I managed to get the iplayer plugin i installed to work by putting it in addons section and not the plugin folder. Ive tried both with this but cant seem to find the plugin/addon on the xbmc interface. Ive gone to videos> video add ons.

I Can see the other add ons here, but nowhere else. I tried using the install from zip in the settings> add-ons section, but it doesnt even pick it up.

Any ideas? I had a read of the installing a plugin but cant figure it out.

Debug log:

Any help would be much appreciated.
