Myself and some of my friends are testing this on our ATV2s with Eden beta1, having the same experience as above. Do you know where we can find a newer version of librtmp?

Well.. a search turns up this thread ->http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=103091 post #14 has a version compiled for ATV2. I'm not sure if it's new enough or not.

Add-on Update Jtv - 0.2.1 - divingmule - 2011-12-29

See post 404.

Download Zip - http://divingmules-repo.googlecode.com/files/plugin.video.jtv.archives-0.2.1.zip

Let me know of any trouble.

Unfortunately it's not new enough. I already had that version installed a few months ago to fix the Hulu addon developed by BlueCop.

Doing my own search, that was the newest librtmp compiled I could find for the AppleTV, which if you notice was uploaded by BlueCop on the 14th:

http://code.google.com/p/bluecop-xbmc-repo/downloads/detail?name=librtmp.0.dylib

Where as the latest version of RTMP was released on July 20th:

http://rtmpdump.mplayerhq.hu/ChangeLog

So I guess we need someone to compile a new librtmp for the ATV. I only wish I knew how to do such a thing myself Huh

Has anyone with ATVs gotten this to work? If so can they upload their librtmp?

I have not tested divingmule's version. I'm using the one posted on #395 and it's working great for me.

Bingo! Thanks newatv2user, it works as expected now. Thanks a lot!

Did you tried divingmule's version?

You might need to check and see if the owner of librtmp is mobile. If not you will need to do "chown mobile librtmp.0.dylib".

On the zip from post #395, I might have changed a couple of lines on the default.py (or whatever the main python file is) to make it work on my atv2. Will take a look when I get home and post it if needed.
