DataVamp Wrote:Hey guys,

I just upgraded to the most recent verision of Showmix and SVN 22516 but now I can't get XBMC to start in fullscreen mode. Any ideas what might be going on? I've even tried downgrading to earlier SVN's but even that wont help.

check your resolution settings - in settings -> appearance -> screen, it's probably set to windowed resolution - just change that, also when in windowed mode, press "\" to switch between windowed and full screen.

that svn is not out yet for all os - not out for windows at least....

these are good news, thanks for pointing it out.

now we just need to wait until current builds are "stable" enough again, so the majority can use them.

btw: thanks for your language contribution. appreciated Wink

damned. i'm thinking too complex. this might be the reason for sure Laugh

obviously that's one of the reasons why he wrote "in the future" Nod

Have you updated the Git Hub now? I saw a change in the topic?

=)

What does this mean?

About the Skin:
Current version as of 20.09.2009: V 2.00 (not on github yet!)

What version did I just pull from the hub then?

ignore that.

Great. =)

Then Im up and running now. I used my only git, only did a "git pull".

Then a "purge" and a reset of guisettings.

Now I have posted some bug reports. =)

Ive told both of them to andy before.

did you try a fresh clone in combination with guisettings cleanup?

- soder - 2009-09-21

BTW, Im helping a friend with his "git pull" and so.

Can I "git pull" his, and then ask him to "purge" manually.

Then, can I edit his guisettings, with the same as I got in mine? Only the showmix-part? Will that give us the same settings?

No, I did a "git pull", then purge, and then guisettings cleanup.

The git pull went well without any problems.

if you don't need to have an eye on bandwidth, i suggest doing a fresh clone.
dunno if that helps for your troubles (i do not see any new ticket commits right now from you?) but worth a try.

as long as you are only changing the stuff inside <skinsettings></skinsettings> and you both have the same dir name for the skin (i.e. ShowMix) that should work.

note that some settings (like i.e. path setting for movie location, any given path/setup to favourites, path to backdrops) might require attention, as i'm quite sure they won't be the same for both of you.

Yes, that worked. We got the same namn, and I did leaved out the path for the backdrops.

Thanks.
