I am just curious to find out how engaging or lazy community XBMC has Wink

Not voted for xbmc as i won't be told what and when to vote by anybody.
Not that i don't think it deserves to do well this seems a bit like vote rigging to meEek

@Paul: To be fair, you were not told to vote, you were asked whether you had. Think of it as a way for all the project to inform users that there is a vote going on.

I personally agree with you that this thread (a poll??) has the potential to do more harm than good though - it pissed me off when I saw it as well. There's a thin line between engaging the community and harassing it!

I still voted though - after all, I have a vested interest, and those little toys they give out to the winners are very cool :p

Cheers,
Jonathan

Fair comment but every where i look i see in most devs signatures saying vote for us.
Surely it would be better to have one thread reminding the us all where and when we can vote etc then leave it at that and remove those pointless reminders in your signatures as they really get on my nervesConfused

Not trying to pick a fight or anything but the addition in the signatures isn't a team decision, it's per person so each dev that have that signature (as you noticed not all have them) have choosed it for themselves and in all fareness if you are allowed to put whatever you want in your signature then so are we Wink

Sure I do agree that since we are developers we shouldn't push the community to do as we please, ofcourse you have your own free will to vote how you please.

Cheers,
Tobias.
