What do these two files do exactly? Im running the full version of Transperancy! v2.0 on my XBOX with a slightly older nightly build (pre-patched version that allows native media flagging) and havent had any issues whatsoever pulling flags for my videos. However, I do rename my files to indicate what format they are from but for the most part Transperancy! does an excellent job in determining the other flags for the video.

Mind you I had to rescan a few movies at a time and redo my fanart and dvd images again to my liking Eek

I can also get proper MPAA and studio flags, after switching over to IMDB as my movie scraper as you suggested Big Grin

those are only needed if you don't run the patched version on the xbox.
it's for supporting the 'old' skin based media flagging.

there's no need to rename your files (accept adding a 'source' tag if you want to).

ronie Wrote:first, you'll have to use one of the media managers to create .nfo files for all your movies/tv shows. you have to configure the media manager to store all the 'media tags' in the <studio> field of the .nfo files.
i'm not sure which media manager still supports this.

in the Transparency!\deprecated folder are two files, copy those to the Transparency!\720p folder (it will overwrite two other files).

last thing to do is rescan all your movies to the library so it picks up the information in the .nfo files.

that should be it.

Cheers Ronie but which Media Manager should i use Confused I have both movies and TV series.

And do i have options of a PC app that will add the info to the folder, then maybe a Xbox script that detects the information via the codecs and audio?

Thanks again.

Also Ronie my build is one of the XBMC nightly builds so do i need to copy the 2 files still?

like i said, i don't know. you'll have to do some researching yourself.

i'm sure you've lost me there.

Ultim8 Wrote:Also Ronie my build is one of the XBMC nightly builds so do i need to copy the 2 files still?

there are two builds available:
- a patched version, that supports native media flagging. if you're using this one, you don't have to copy the files and you don't need a media manager.
- the 'normal' version, that only supports 'skin based' media flagging. in this case you have to copy those two files and use a media manager as explained above.

Ok i have the latest nightly build one, how do i get the patched version?

Sorry getting back into this and everything has drastically changed, i appreciate your help

Its ok Ronie i have found the patched version, do the file names need to be named specifically for this to work or will it detect all the info automatically.

it's available on the xbmc nightly builds site.
before installing it, please read this thread: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=53618

Thanks for a really nice looking skin, and a very FAST skin. I'm on Aeon ShowMix before this, and this is really really fast.

I got some questions:

1. Poster view for TV-shows, is that possible?

2. I would like to try the Theater thing, and I must then in the skin settings specify the path to the apple trailer pluggin. I would like to use my Apple trailer LITE, installed from the SVN Repo Installer. Is that possible?

3. And in what file can specify the path for this pluggin. Its in my ~/.xbmc/plugins and I can't pick that folder in XBMC.

you don't have to specify the path to the AMT script. this is only used for linking the script to the 'Trailers' button on the home menu.

soder Wrote:3. And in what file can specify the path for this pluggin. Its in my ~/.xbmc/plugins and I can't pick that folder in XBMC.

the only thing needed for the Home Theater Experience script is to enable it:
Settings > Skin Settings > Scripts > Enable Home Theater Experience script

there's no need to specify the path.

Hmm ok. DOES it work with the Apple trailer LITE then?

what a great skin, thumbs up and keep up the good work!!!

When I select a background for eg. VIDEO in the home menu and set it as default, the skin does not remember it and switches back to the 'shark/tv' background. What am I doing wrong here?

cheers

When you press the Default button, that switches it back to default.
