First of all, what are you doing up that late. Go to bed. . The debug log does not really show much other than when you try to assign a playlist and then you see the following:
WARNING: CUtil::GetMatchingSource... no matching source found for [special://userdata/playlists/music/]
Do you have a playlist stored in your userdata/playlists/music/ directory on the xbox. If you do, maybe you could post the playlist here so that I can take a look and see whats going on.
The start-up playlist stuff is pretty well as Chi3f left it, so I'm not really that familiar with this code. Will take a look and see what turns up.

lipo Wrote:hi here wyrmLipo,
I'm working on the Non Xbox version of the skin at the moment, so most of the work on the skin has not moved across to the xbox build as yet. I will recheck this when I do, but I think this has already been fixed in the Non Xbox build. If anyone using the SVN version of the skin knows otherwise on this please speak up, so that I can nail this.

lipo Wrote:i'm a night owlLipo,
I have taken a quick look at this and I have a couple of ideas for fixes. But the debug logs that you have posted all show you changing the settings, but don't show the 5 minute wait that you are talking about. Could you please post a debug log of a session where you have the wait occur. As to the not showing of the location of the playlist, that's an easy one and I will e-mail the corrected files to you when I have sorted the whole issue. Could you also e-mail me (you have the e-mail address) the playlist file so I know what should be happening.

Sorry mate, that debug log seems to suggest that it's working. Total time on the Debug log was 40 seconds and it said that it was playing the file (see line 231 of your posted debug log). Will take a further look at the PMIII skin and see what is different between it and my skin.
As to the playlist file (.m3u file) I take it that the only line in the file is "F:\Music\DreamOn.mp3", is that correct?
Not sure if there is much else that I can do on this, back to you on this one mate.
(EDIT) Lipo, sorry buddy just found your e-mail in my post holiday deluge. Now have your .m3u file, will check further.
- wyrm - 2011-05-04 09:54
Just took a look at your .m3u file and it seems to show that the length of the file is ZERO seconds. ie
#EXTINF:0,Aerosmith - Dream On
says according to the wiki entry on .m3u files that the file is zero seconds long and to display Aerosmith - Dream On as the name of the track. Try changing the 0 to another value and see if that helps.

sorry double post
- lipo - 2011-05-04 14:55
i try that but it still happen
could you make background audio & sub setting also video setting bigger
the bottom text cut out
concerning use intro video
could you fix intro video default directory ?
it should be q:\userdata\playlists\video\
another suggestion still concern startup playlist & intro video
if i enabled intro video should'nt startup playlist automaticly disable & vice versa ??
another overlaping text
last but not least
when i copy/move more than one file, the second file and afterward doesnt have progress bar
ill post debug log ASAP

lipo Wrote:i try that but it still happenWill check this again, but I suspect I have already done something about this. The version you are using is very different to my SVN version at this stage. Just want to finish adding weather plus support to the non xbox version of the skin and then I plan to backport to the xbox version. After that I would like to release a new build.
Quote:concerning use intro videoBut it's not a playlist, it's a video file. So if I change the default for you I will no doubt upset someone else. Besides, really it's a couple more clicks to get where you think the file should live and you only need to change it very rarely (I would hope anyway), so not a major concern really.
Quote:another suggestion still concern startup playlist & intro videoNow, this I agree with. Will add this to my todo list.
Quote:another overlaping textWill take a look at this as well
Quote:ladt but not leastYep someone else posted the same problem. Debug log will certainly help pin this down, will see what I can find.

first of all i want to say thank you for this nice skin. I have installed it on my Apple TV2 and till now it seems to run very stable and quick
Build 210 of xTV-SAF now available - wyrm - 2011-05-10 04:02
Just a heads up to let anyone using the Passion Repo version of the skin know of a new release. Be warned that it is a work in progress (as always) and there are a few rough edges.
The main reason for the update is to have people play with the weather+ weather screens and give feedback. While all of the forecast types are there and working (after a fashion), the 'Hourly' forecast still requires a lot of work to lay it out better (overlapping fields etc at the moment). At this stage I am leaning towards the idea of of only showing part of the 12 hourly forecasts and providing a scrollbar to see the rest. How do people feel about this?
As to the other forecast types, for the most part they are complete. If you have suggestions on how to better layout these screens or even any bugs that I have missed, feel free to post them here.
From this point on other than the 'Hourly' forecast issue listed above, I will be working towards getting the skin ready for a formal release. So basically, No more new features for the time being, just bug stomping at this stage (and porting the changes to the skin over to the XBox version).
Have at it!

Installed the update from passion repo. I don't really know how it was before but the weather icons are not completely shown in the forecast.
I also changed the language to english to ensure that it is not language dependend, it's the same behavior. If i change the skin, all icons will be shown.
Here is the screenshot

Yes sorry mate, for some reason the download for passion is missing 2/3rd of the skin. Basically you are missing a lot of the images required for the weather conditions and it would seem that the textures.xbt file is about half the size it should be.
Will notify the Passion repo guys and see if they can't fix things. Keep an eye out for an update from Passion on this. Hopefully should be resolved by 2am Paris time tomorrow (that is when the repo is refreshed).

thank you for the information. You're right, i tried it on my PC where i have both versions og xTV skin (Passion repo & standard skin) installed, copied over the textures.xbt from the standard skin to the repo and the weather info is complete.
Nevertheless i will wait with my ATV2 till the Passion guys have updated their repo...
