No, not "Web Based", a moderator changed title and I can't change myself.

Thanks for adding the new time format option Vincent! Now XBNE is perfect for when I need to manually edit some details.

Great Work!

NET framework - Chuck Bartowski - 2011-05-23

Hi Vincent

Does the latest version now work with NET framework 4 - i had tried a previous version with Net 4 and had to roll back to 3.5 to get the scrapers to work

- Vincent81 - 2011-05-23

Hello,
OK, I use the scraper of Nicezia (http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=52929), I'll do with him if he can do something ...

is it possible to scrape in different languages than english from moviedDB?
also, thanx for this great tool!

Think I found an error.

None of the movies I had in the DB had any imdb link, when I selected all, and chose to update imdb link, all movies got saved with kind of the right link, the only think was that it had 3x t in the start. Like this ttt1527788 insted of tt1527788.

Anyone know anything about this?

- Vincent81 - 2011-06-24

New version : 11.6.0.0
Corrections :
- Problem with accent character in MySQL.
- Compatible MyVideos53.db
- Update notes, ratings and genres on IMDB automatically.
...

Can someone explain how this tool exactly works? (or point to a tutorial?)

XBNE is installed on my Desktop pc (192.168.0.2) and XBMC is on my HTPC (192.168.0.3)
I can get XBNE to read the XBMC database (my movies show up in XBNE) but I'm not sure on how to save the changed data into XBMC. Changes I make in XBNE do not show in XBMC. What do I have to make the new thumbs and fanart show in XBMC?

Edit: Got a bit further: Right now I load the database from XBMC and I change the thumbs and fanart, then I save. When I'm done editing all the movies I goto: Option, Maintenance and select the 'Backup all Videos of the Database in a NFO file by Video' option. Then I manually copy the .nfo, .tbn and fanart files to the movie folders on my HTPC.

Is that the way to do it, or is there an easier way? (preferably automated?)

- Vincent81 - 2011-06-26

Hello,
For the moment, XBNE doesn't work correctly with html server (Only database reading is OK). Use MySQL if you can. Or if movies are accessible, it will write nfo file and fanart,... with the movie.

- Meelobee - 2011-06-27

Unfortunately I have no idea how to use MySQL, so I guess I keep doing it the way I described above.

What do you mean by: if the movies are accessible? I have the movies on a share on my HTPC, and run XBNE on my Desktop.

- Vincent81 - 2011-06-27

then uses the mode "without media-center", load your movie from the network in XBNE, edits, it would set a nfo file with the movie, then refreshed the source in XBMC, it retrieves the info from the nfo.
