RE: [Web Interface Addon] XWMM - XBMC Web Media Manager - cpercival - 2013-04-15

Looking for a little more clarity on what can and cannot be currently done . I'm mostly interested in genre editing capabilities. I saw in the notes on page one that genre management is not working yet but genres can be edited on a per movie basis. Does this mean that I can change the genres for each movie, but cannot add or delete genres?

Yes, you can edit the genre on a per movie basis, using existing genres to pick from

But can't delete unused genres or create my own?
Sorry to be so specific here, but this is one of the main ways I organize my movies and will determine whether I move to Frodo yet or wait until xwmm has been more fully developed.

I have the exact same question as above,

@cpercival you may be waiting much longer then.

@slash @ Zernable

I sneaked a icon/favicon update to master and frodo please comment.

icon see https://github.com/slash2009/XWMM/blob/master/icon.png
favicon I may tweak it further so its more visible.

Both use xbmc 100% logo elements the w is the m and the rest is from xbmc logo package gfx.

I´m using confluence modified skin with the library editor script for adding new movie sets. It´s very slowly but it the only way i found to do this.
I´m still waiting for the new xwmm. It´s obviously the best for editing amd mangaing genres and sets.

I´m using the confluence modified skin with the library editor to create / add new movie sets. It´s a slow way to do this but is the easiest way i found for adding new sets.
The other way is to manually edit .nfo files.

Still waiting for the update for xwmm (obviously is the best way to mange sets and genres, etc.) or the xbmc-team to finishing the movie set management.

Just quickly, I read about 6 page-posts back that the Files tab is not yet working in Frodo (12). Is this still the case? I just get a blank white screen - all else seems fine for my use!

Thank you for picking up and getting this one running again - very appreciative.

@uni
Nice icon - that in the ' live ' version?
Is there a specific upgrade process, our is it just a matter of downloading and adding as normal?

Thanks.

What "live" version? Just download and add.

Hi, does anyone suggestions with this.

Basically ive been using XWMM for a while now, just to change the sort titles on some of my films and its been absolutely fine, not an issue. however from yesterday i had to rescrape my files as i moved from a NAS to local storage and so had to redo all my file locations however now every time i put the port/ip address on my browser it just says unable to reach (have tried multiple - chrome, firefox, opera) all the same. So i removed all the xbmc files and did a fresh install and still the same.

As i said was having no issue prior to this and im pretty sure in the fresh install ive turned on everything that needs to be (im no noob)

so yeah, ay ideas or suggestions would be really appreciated

cheers, Luke

PS this is on a mac if that helps

Using
Frodo 12.1
XWMM 2.1.0

Editing the movie sets in XWMM doesn't work anymore. Is there another simple work around? This seems crazy if there's not...

RE: [Web Interface Addon] XWMM - XBMC Web Media Manager - un1versal - 2013-04-24

Editing movie sets never worked, its on the todo list for Christmas. Edit it per movie basis or upgrade to XBMC v13 alpha3 which has movie set management built in see http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=160517

What does it mean to "Edit it per movie basis"? I use to be able to edit everything how I wanted in XWMM but now it won't let me after updating to Frodo. I'm using Crystalbuntu 2.0 on ATV1. For example, creating an entirely new movie set is something I can no longer do.
