One more suggestion, can you add an option to tag the Movie as Watched?

Would save me some time as I'm just adding all my movies to the database, most have been watched so would like to tag them as such.

Hah, sorry I didn't mean it that way at all. I can add the watched flag whenever!

I really like this program, especially because I'm on an iMac and the other programs don't work on Mac OSX.

With the new SVN version, the files mode doesn't seem to work for me. It keep getting stuck at the loading screen (10%, now loading Volumes)

I have Firefox with Firebug. What information do you want me to search for?

edit: ok there is still a script running for a long time. Here it says ext-basex.js row number 1029
I'll leave it running for a while, see if it goes somewhere.

Excellent.

in firebug console make sure you have XMLHttpRequest checked.

You should see a serie of requests corresponding to the xbmc path browsing to build the tree view.

- sandman4sure - 2010-01-20

Yes, there are literally thousands of request at ext-basex.js row number 1029

It's still working. Is this a one-time thing? It's already more than 20 minutes now

Unless you have thousands of folders it should not take more than 2 minutes.

I'm suspecting an infinite loop Blush

Could you copy paste one of the responses to one of those requests ?

I wish I could, but I can't pause the script so it keeps moving. This way I can't copy the response. Any idea how to do this?

- slash - 2010-01-20

While it's running:

- click on a response
- click on the response tab
- copy the content.
- close firefox :-( to stop the script.

Hmmm, I see now that it is analyzing everything, now it was searching for Adressbook.app. Maybe something wrong with my sources?

Looks like it :

Do you have a source in XBMC named Volumes ?
you can try : http://<xbmc_IP>:<port>/xbmcCmds/xbmcHttp?command=GetShares(video) to get the list

XWMM is scanning the entire drive because of that( I think).

Any way, thanks for reporting this. I think I will remove the auto-parsing feature and make it manual to prevent XWMM to scan unnecessary folders.

Any suggestions on this ?

# Volumes;/Volumes/
# Video Playlists;special://videoplaylists/
# Desktop;/Users/sandman4sure/Desktop/
# Home;/Users/sandman4sure/
# Movies;/Users/sandman4sure/Movies/
# Films;multipath://%2fVolumes%2fMediaCenter%20Part%202%2fFilms%2f/%2fVolumes%2fMediaCenter%20Part%203%2fFilms%2f/
# TV series;/Volumes/MediaCenter 1TB/TV series/
# Music Videos;/Volumes/MediaCenter 1TB/Music Videos/
# Concert;/Volumes/MediaCenter 1TB/Music Videos/Concert/

Maybe let the user select his / her Movie source?
Or don't examine the 'Volumes' one. (so a single '/Volumes/')

Thanks,

I'll keep you posted when I have a new svn ready (probably this week-end)
