Now the posters are showing. I have a vague recollection that somebody mentioned something about the directory having to be writable by the xbmc user. How would that make a difference? JavaScript can't write on the server side anyways... - slash - 2010-05-30 srv1973 Wrote:Interesting... Hi srv1973, XWMM/cache has to be writable the thumbs are copied from the user directory to the cache directory (limitation of the old webserver). Actually it is in the instructions on the first post With the new web server (libmicrohttpd) this limitation was removed, so it is now possible to refer to a thumb in the system directory. I was waiting the official release of XBMC ver 10.x to make the change, as not all the users use xbmc svn builds. [/quote] - srv1973 - 2010-05-30 slash Wrote:Hi srv1973,So currently you ask XBMC to copy/write the thumb to disk, and then return a URL to that disk file? - slash - 2010-05-30 Hi everyone, I've created a dev forum for XWMM. Want to keep this thread for XWMM users support and informations. So if you want to participate in the evolution of XWMM go here Japanese charactor support with the SVN? - kyouhei - 2010-05-31 Hi, I just tried svn175 with XBMC PRE-10.5 r28256 on Ubuntu 9.04. Japanese is not working like this. Any help? I was using XWMM v1.4.6 before microhttpd and Japanese was working as the screenshot, F.Y.I. Thanks! - slash - 2010-05-31 Hi, Problem with the characters in the title ? Try using a different character encoding in your browser (ISO-8850-91 or UTF-8) Problem with the covers not displaying ? Make sure the folder /XWMM/cache has write permissions for the xbmc user in ubuntu. Let me know. - kyouhei - 2010-06-01 Hi Slash, I did not tell that but I also tried using UTF-8 but Japanese did not work. And xbmc has full permissions of entire XWMM directory under the web directory. Thanks, Kyouhei - kyouhei - 2010-06-01 I'm very sorry, Japanese works fine with the ISO-8859-1 encoding. So this is perfectly working with microhttpd! Thanks! - slash - 2010-06-02 kyouhei Wrote:I'm very sorry, Japanese works fine with the ISO-8859-1 encoding. Excellent, Thanks for the feedback - dave77 - 2010-06-07 just tried both the svn and stable versions. In both versions images don't show up, am I doing something wrong? - slash - 2010-06-07 dave77 Wrote:just tried both the svn and stable versions. Is it the case? - dave77 - 2010-06-09 slash Wrote:If you are using a linux based xbmc make sure /XWMM/cache has the write permissions (use chmod). Nope, Windows 7 version - slash - 2010-06-09 dave77 Wrote:Nope, Windows 7 version Could you post (via pastbin) your xbmc.log and I'll have a look at it. - YodaEXE - 2010-06-14 I'm trying to use the SVN version, but when I try to access the server I'm getting a File Not Found error. Not really sure what's causing it. Any ideas? Here's my log: http://pastebin.org/329093 EDIT: Nevermind, got it. Apparently not all the files had decided to copy over from my flash drive! EDIT2: Ok, new problem. Works great for my movies. I'm able to go through and play with them. However, nothing shows up when I click TV Shows. The list is just empty. - slash - 2010-06-14 Hi, Could you open your browser to the following : http://<XBMC_ip : port>/xbmcCmds/xbmcHttp?command=queryvideodatabase(select idShow, c00, c08, totalCount, watchedCount, watched FROM tvshowview) and copy the view page source into pastebin (should look like <html><recordset> .....</recordset></html>) Also do you see the genres list on the right side ? |
