pedram Wrote:The debug log is here. I see it saying in there that it can't load the local index.html file from the local XBMC addons folder, but I guess I'll let you figure out why Smile

correct the problem is :

Code:
WebServer: Failed to open C:\Users\Pedram\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\addons\webinterface.XWMM\xwmm\index.html

Try the followings:
- Check the permissions for the xwmm folder ?
- Access http://<xbwc_ip>/XWMM/movies/index.html from your browser
- Change the folder from xwmm to XWMM

Davidja Wrote:Hope this is not stupid a question. I have just installed the latest version of XWMM on my ATV2 running Junes stable version of XBMC.
I want to change the titles where the scraping has given the wrong details, i.e the wrong movie all together. I believe XWMM allows this and the results to be reflected directly in the ATV db. I have no idea of how to do this though. Can someone advise on nthe basic request. Also if I hit the files menu I get nothing.
Thanks for advice.
Can anyone help??

Sorry for the delay. There are no such thing as stupid questions Smile

XWMM allows you to change the all the movie details manually only. I'm working on including requests to XBMC scrapers addons into XWMM via JSON-RPC.

Also I'm not sure if ATV2 is using the same code as the standard XBMC, may be someone can enlighten me.

for the files section, could you try with firefox and post your xbmc.log file.

Can I tell you that renaming failed on titles that include '&'-character. Replacing with 'and' works, but there is no way to include the '&' with XWMM.

Plus, you need to update the whole screen before saved changes are visible in XWMM. It is impossible to edit something twice without doing so first.

I added read/list/execute permission on the addon's folder to "Everyone" user and still the same error. I uninstalled and reinstalled the addon and still the same error. I tried running both the browser and XBMC as administrator (even though my user is an admin) and still the same "File not found" error every time.

I even tried opening the "index.html" file directly from Windows Explorer to see what happens. I kinda doubted it would work and I was right, I just get a blank white screen.

Maybe it's time to give up on this.

.../XWMM/index.html
.../XWMM/movies/index.html

Did you try to clear the cache, and try both of these files in your browser? It seems there is an extra level of xwmm folder in your log (slash pointed out that in the response above). And yes, when you open the index.htm directly, the screen is blank.

OK, I finally got it to work. I removed all the stuff in the path and just put the IP and it worked. I guess it was the fact that I had XWMM in the path that messed it up (since I only have XWMM and not another web tool). My bad. Thanks for the help.

Apple TV and accessing the files - Davidja - 2011-12-10

Hi Slash, I tried Safari and got nothing (i.e it displayed a blank page). The XMBC Log file is large shall I email it?

This a limitation in XWMM Blush. You cannot update a field with special characters (%, &, quotes, etc ...). I'm working on it.

For the refresh part, I'll fix it in the next release.

Thanks for your input

Please use http://pastebin.com/ to post your log file. Don't forget to enable debugging in XBMC

Hi!

I'm using XWMM 2.0.0d with the latest Build. By default the colums for movie-sets and watch-state is to small (only ... is visible).
Are there any plans to implement a function to edit actor-infos in the music-section (thumb, fanart, biography,..)

Best Regards
Macchina

Hi,
It's already in the roadmap, but I didn't have time work on it. For the watch-state been to small, it already fixed and will reflected in the next release.
Thanks

maybe a small bug... - Abe420 - 2011-12-12

Hello, I am using XWMM 2.0.0d with Pre-Eden, latest build.

Noticed a quick bug, when naming / creating Movie sets you can not use a "&" in the set name. It just will not save.

!!! edit never mind, i just read the known issues.. Sorry! Smile

Thanks for all the great work, I love this web app.

Cheers,
Abe
