How, would that work? Considering fanart usually shows the currently selected movie. No movies are selected on the home screen. Surely it would not make sense.
I have it in Aeon - kayman40 - 2009-12-06
I have that option in Aeon and it just randomly grabs fanart. I really like this look on the home page. Let me know what you think.

You have the option to assign different backgrounds to each main screen option. But I do not think random movie fanart makes much sense to me. Surely it would just make the title screen confusing.
Would you not prefer for example to assign image types that correspond to the main option selected eg System = system type images etc.
Currently on the main screen
You can assign default plain background
Single Images per option
Multi Images per option
Then you can choose to have any of these animated.

I just played around with the image settings for the home page. I'll be able to get it to do what I like but I'll have to make one single directory with my fanart in it. It'll take a while but it will work. It seems the fanart isn't as clear as the background in the movies folder. Do you know why?

If i remember it is dimmed slightly to make things on top stand out more.

I did, but after your last update I started using Showcase Split View and now it's back again, in the 3D wrap view it can be disabled in the settings, so I hoped that this could be done for the Showcase split view also.

The skin option was only coded for 3D Wrap View.

I managed to copy the "Press down to view trailer" code to the new view:
When you press down the trailer starts fullscreen. In 3D wrap view pressing down will also start the trailer in fullscreen.
I don't know if you like it, but if you want to add it to the skin, here's my edited viewsvideo.xml

If I want my trailer fullscreen I just press fullscreen on my Harmony remote. Must confess I don't watch them much but added it for others to use. So I have merged your code into the next release.
I am happy to merge any features that people code into the main mod. I just don't have enough time to code all the extras myself.

Perhaps you could edit the code so that the trailer plays in the screen where now the movie plot scrolls. Personally, I don't know how to code that, I'm just happy I managed to do this

Don't you prefer fullscreen trailers?
