I think my question drowned in the all the news regarding the new update
So, here it is again:
Can anyone tell me how I can get a background/wallpaper of my own choosing for the Main Menu?
I have tried changing the filter.png as Hitcher suggested earlier, but that changes the background for all views, interfering with ie. fanart in the poster view.
I want to change the background only for the Main Menu, not the other views.

I wasn't originally going to because I'm not the creator of the icons or the wallpaper but now it looks like they can both be distributed freely as long as the original artist is credited.

I have no problem with editing some xml's I just don't know what to edit, hehe...

Juanflaco, where do I need to extract the icons to? I'm not sure if all icons are used, so maybe you can tell me which ones you replaced?

OK, I might just be slow but to change these color skins do I just rename one of the xml files to default.xml in the color folder? Or can I name it something else in the folder and then via the setting in the skin switch to it?

Just put them in the colors folder and then simply change the color in the Appearance settings.
