having an issue trying to get a show Dragon Ball Kai, it's scene naming is just Dragon Ball Kai 25, for example, just the episode number. from what i can tell, it won't work, also for some reason it can't match it to thetvdb either, even though it's there

That looks like something you should put in the issue-tracker. Do you have any logs for this?

Hey Im just a newb and just wanted to say thanks for a great program. I was able to get it up and running. The program works like a champ! Just some ideas for newbs:

1) 1st find out what usenet is and all the definitions. IE NZBs, Whats a newsgroup, etc...
2) Find a Usenet provider
3) Find a NZB provider that is supported.
4) Install SABNZBD+ and get it working
5) Install Sickbeard and test it with a show.

Also, take your time and read and read.

anime is a whole other mess. there is an anime branch just for it.. lad1337's newer myAnime branch is probably the best one to test. lots of anime isn't posted with season or uses absolute numbering.. both these things arent supported in the main sickbeard branch.

Now recently, SickBeard isn't renaming or moving my TV shows it has downloaded. I haven't changed anything at all. Is there something with he new release causing this?

no. go check settings. update/post logs.

Maybe it's a good idea to put an item in a postprocessing-queue when thetvdb.com is down, check if thetvdb.com is online every now and then, and resume postprocessing when it is back online again.

I don't know if it's possible or not, but it would help a lot. I now have some shows that are 'done' but don't have any meta data since thetvdb is down at the moment.

they will update later automatically.

I didn't know that, that's awesome!

Another issue; I have these Entourage season 7 shows that won't succesfully download. They just fail in sabnzb, and in sickbeard the status remains 'snatched'. When I set them back to wanted, it tries to download the same files again. Shouldn't Sickbeard keep tabs on which .nzb's failed like Couchpotatoe does?

Sickbeard not talking to XBMC - hhdpop - 2011-03-28

XBMC is setup on an open port (8082) and with a password. I have entered this information in Sickbeard but still won't talk to XBMC. I can access web XBMC through my browser and using the password.

So if I add a new TV show I have to do an "Update Library" manually and then it will find the new show.

Any ideas?

Sickbeard v Alpha Build 484
XBMC v 10.1

If in Sickbeard I hit on "Update XBMC" I get:

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "cherrypy\_cprequest.pyo", line 660, in respond

If I try to Test my XBMC connection it just spins and spins, but never resolves.

Thanks.

how exactly did you enter the settings? Did you by any chance included "" in the port-setting, or maybe a space?

- Cuddly Cannibal - 2011-03-28

So recently I've been trying to get The Looney Tunes Show to function within Sick Beard with less than stellar results. To my chagrin it seems that most of the episodes are not available with any of my search providers.

I have the golden collections 1-6 and am considering breaking all 30 discs *gulp* apart into individual episodes so they can show up conveniently in XBMC under television shows but that sounds like way too much work for my liking. Does anyone have any suggestions? This might stray into murky waters, and I hope I'm not violating any forum rules as it is so if so feel free to delete my post and/or pm me for details if anyone knows. Thanks! Big Grin

HenryFord Wrote:how exactly did you enter the settings? Did you by any chance included "" in the port-setting, or maybe a space?

Yeah no spaces. I have even deleted, chose different port. Put a small password (1234) and try different combinations. Still no luck.

Any other log I can show here?

- dannycorker - 2011-03-29

I've been stuck with an update message for the last couple of weeks i can't get rid of - sometimes I click update and it does an update, but when I restart it claims I am still a few commits behind. If I click update again, I get a message saying Update failed, check log for info. Or something along those lines.

This is what's in the debug log for the time period that I attempt an update.
