I would like change my name to 'Martijn' it was used by a user that only made one post in 2004

It might actually be easier if you simply make a new wiki account and call it 'Martijn' - I just checked, there's no such user.

Reason being that renaming a user is not an option there, it's a whole delete and merge operation between 2 accounts, one which I've never performed.

Oops, I should have paid attention to this sub-forum. I had been meaning to install renameuser for MediaWiki :D.

is it also possible to merge 2 accounts ?
seems i made a long time ago a account with my main nick TRaSH
but when i really started to use xbmc i forgot and created a new one called TRaSH-
you will notice they use both a different email address.
this one use a email address with my main nick as starter.
the other one uses my irl nick and last name as address.

if merging is not possible could you delete TRaSH and change TRaSH- to TRaSH.

I merged trash into trash- and then I renamed trash- to trash
