Scrape removable media (dvd/bluray) to library. When played ask for disk - shadylog - 2010-01-05
Diskspace is only going to get you so far. And I have 3tb of data i actually want to offload on bluray.
Wouldn't it be cool to just move those files yourself to bluray then letting xbmc scrape it for info but with a special button that says "Scrape Removable Media".
After scraping xbmc would ask you how your disk is named, I would put in a description of the discs contents and/or disk number "The Matrix (1999) Battlestar Galactica S01E01 disc 134".
After that you get a message you can remove the media at which point you see that the content on the bluray/dvd was scraped and added to the library!
* Optional: some kind of overlay over the posters (like watched) to mention that these are stored on removable media would be cool i think *
Now comes the kicker, when you play one of these videos it will ask for the dvd/bluray with the message "Insert Disk: he Matrix (1999) Battlestar Galactica S01E01 disc 134"!
At which point you run over to your dvd cabinet and insert it.
