I was lazy and just made symlinks, seems to have done the trick.
Oddly enough there was functionality put into xbmc to deal with case issues.
This must be an odd case out of the bunch.

it might be worth mentioning that once the images are compiled into a Textures file, case-sensitivity is no issue anymore.
images inside the Textures file are case insensitive.

I'm not a fan of the xpr packages, they had their place on the xbox but we don't really need them here.
They hider cross-platform skin modification and consume extra bandwidth for even smallest of updates.
The best solution would be just for people to pay attention to case. Wink
Is there a mention of this topic in the wiki or the basic skinning package?

Also unless the xpr format has changed I recall having case issues with Aeon for files inside of them.

**edit** While we're on the topic why the hell is NTFS one of the only filesystems that is still case-insensitive?

not an expert on .xpr but from my reading I thought .xpr's were fine but some people were having trouble with .xbt's corrupting images

even after a restart, seems there's no background on contextual menu in tv show or movie

Contextual menu?

- mcborzu - 2010-04-17

if you mean the menu you get by pressing 'c' on the keyboard, thats strange I would have heard from other if that context dialog was messed up...

Ok cool, don't worry I usually "push" my changes every night...it'll be fine by 10-11pm(est) tonight...

or change Confluence to confluence in dialogvideoscan.xml probably 20 lines down...

no problem, i'm testing a way to find why cleartitle do not work for me for now

- hikaricore - 2010-04-17

See this is why I used symlinks. Tongue
You went and fukored yours all up by renaming things hehe.

Your cleartitles should be named as such logo.png and placed in the root directory for each series.

- ppic - 2010-04-17

there are, but doesn't seems to work with smb shares, same behaviour for cleararts i've just tested it on my windows computer with a local folder, all works.

- hikaricore - 2010-04-17

How are your smb shares mounted? This could probably be solved easily.

http://help.ubuntu.com/community/Fstab

I'm just assuming you're using debian/ubuntu but the fstab entries are the key here and should apply to most any *nix.

- ppic - 2010-04-17

some other things i've noticed:
no "now playing window" on 3d landscape view
overlaping on this kind of view with now playing window:

i've just selected it by browsing the network, that's not linux related, same problem with my windows machine.
