It seems the sorting in library mode is a bit broken.
There seem to be two things going on: The first is that choosing ascending or descending doesn't make a difference. It does work in file mode however.

The second is that when using a smart playlist, previously you had the option to sort by whatever method you had set in the playist. Now when you arrive at that option all labels at the right shift one position to the left. (visible/invisble appears under 'order by', ascending/descending appears under 'watched', etc.)

I'm using the newest version from the repository (1.1.6)

Thanks, fixed for next update.

I'm new to XBMC, installed last week and are very impressed, I'm using Hitchers Alaska Revisited skin and think it is so elegant, just wanted to say thank you to Hitcher for your hard work, from my very new and limited knowledge of everything XBMC I understand that DJH authored the original Alaska but no longer pursues XBMC skin development, should he follow this thread then my thanks to him too.

Landscape images - Eoghlear - 2010-07-27

Hitcher,

By downloading landscape images from thTVdb.com, which ones do you mean?
There are only banners, fanart and posters? Or do you use the fanart and convert them?

Greetings

I personally use the 'fanart with text' images and resize them.

Is there a way to have the music view only show playlists? I have a ton of albums and scrolling thru them takes a good while. I know there's no option in the setting for this, but maybe it's do-able some other way??

You do realise there's submenu entry for Playlists don't you?

If you really need to change the main link then change this -
PHP Code:
<onclick>ActivateWindow(MusicLibrary,albums,return)</onclick
to this-
PHP Code:
<onclick>ActivateWindow(MusicLibrary,Playlists,Return)</onclick
in the Includes_HomeDefault.xml

I have experienced some problems with alaska revisited, where I get a error message, when entering Movies. I run latest Dharma version and windows 7 x64. I have put in some custom backdrops and gotten xbmc subtitles as addon, these shouldnt provoke the error. But before i do a final bug report I will reinstall and see if anything changes.

Have anyone of you experienced same problem?

Gonna need a bit more info.

Yeah i know.. The problem does not exist anymore. I think it had something to do with movieposters from other skins ?!

As of now it is working again, but is it possible to remove that red blur in lower left corner?

In System Info there's no build number in the left hand corner. It says "build" and that's it.

I tried the Confluence skin and that does have a build number. Alaska does have the build number as well. I am using Lucid and today's SVN.

Cheers, fixed for next update.

How would I go about linking lyrics to a button on my MCE remote? I googled this looked at some of the XML's for Revisited and this is what I came up with.

<g>XBMC.RunScript(script.cu.lyrics)</g> I added this to my keyboard.xml in my \xbmc\system folder under <musicOSD> my G key isn't mapped to anything else. When I play a song and go into the OSD and press G nothing happens. Now I have no idea if my syntax is even correct. I don't know much about XML (learning) So what I came up with was all I could figure out on my own.

*EDIT*

Hummm, lyrics aren't working at all for me, I just tried them via the button on the OSD and nothing happened. Running the latest Revisited + the latest SVN.

Have got the 'Lyrics' add-on installed?

- quebert - 2010-07-30

Hitcher Wrote:Have got the 'Lyrics' add-on installed?

That was it, I had 2 shortcuts for XBMC one -p and one not, the -p didn't have the plugin installed. For anyone who wants to add a lyric button to their remote I added this to keyboard.xml in xbmc/system.

<g>XBMC.RunScript(script.cu.lyrics)</g>

<g> can be changed to any keyboard key not currently mapped to something.
