Hey Hitcher

In Episode view, you have the Premiered date localised (which I find much more natural to read) but not in the other viewtypes for TV episodes where you expose this metadata. I think this is the difference between ListItem.Date and .Premiered.

Sorted, thanks.

I am not sure when we lost this or if it something with my installation, but when did the rating revert back to not scrolling when there was more than a simple letter/number designation?

Also i can't seem to get the up arrow on the home screen to display the newest movies or episodes. I believe this is related to using MySQL and a combined database for multiple installations on the same subnet, rather than the default one.

if you're on svn the recently added script was removed.

Surprised no-one else spotted this but it's fixed now in Revisited but Mod will have to wait a few weeks.

Does it work on other skins?

Hitcher - I've been away for a while but just installed Revisted from your Add-On Repository and everything is looking terrific.

I made a few themes a while ago and would like to give it another go with revisited. Any tips before I get started or changes to the process this time around?

Your skin is awesome...been using it since te first release...but lately i've been playing a bit in photoshop with some icons for my leopard dock and thought why not to try implementing those icons in your skin...

So for example i would like to use beats by dr. dre headphone icon for music icon on home screen...etc. etc.

The plan is to make all the icons that look like something that exists and and not like something abstract like you did... Smile

But i struck the wall at texture.xbt that cant be extracted...is it possible that you share your media folder with me so i could edit those files ?

Later if you like my work you can claim it as your own, for me this work is just for fun, and for making my friends say wow when they see my "new media center" 3 times better then theirs Western Digital HD players...

- Hitcher - 2010-11-24

You can download them all from the source and delete the textures.xbt -

I have a couple questions about creating new color themes; I'll see what I can determine by trial-and-error, but if anyone can help save me some time it would be greatly appreciated...

1. How is the section "SVN Colour Hacks" used?

2. How can I "darken" fanart in views other than file? By decreasing the opacity of list_vignette.png I can darken fanart in file views, but I can't find a corresponding overlay for the other views.

3. I no longer see a FlagDiffuse color option. I can recolor the star rating, but do I need to re-color the flag images themselves to get codec, AR, studio flags of a different color?

Thanks in advance to Hitcher or anyone who has experimented with coloring and can lend a hand.

I knew that i can download them separetly...i hoped to see a .rar file or something and not to download them one by one it will take 2 hours to download all of it like that... Sad

TortoiseSVN

That was to change the default colours of plugins so they were compatible with Alaska.

Includes.xml > Global_Filter

You'll the value at the top of the Includes_MediaFlags.xml

The main reason there are colours not in the default.xml is simply because this was my personal version to start with and I never thought about it. Having said that, and now someone has shown an interest in making themes, I'll probably go through and add all off them to the default.xml.

Thanks for the info.

That would be awesome. I can definitely tinker in the meantime with the other files to at least figure out the look I'm going for, but having a default.xml as rich as your previous version would be outstanding - thanks!

edit: just for fun, here's an early experiment with a palette I'm working on...

Looking good Juan!

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

- Hitcher - 2010-11-25

OK, I've moved all of the colour tags to the default.xml. Just check out from the SVN -
