It's a known XBMC problem.

Turn off 'Auto-Update', switch skins when you get the update message, update and then switch back.

Cheers Hitcher, looking forward to it.

I must change skin nearly every day there are so many awesome skins out there I can never stick with just one lol.

hi,

with the latest update there are numbers in front of my albums if i click "up" on the music main menu button. is this a new feature? can i switch this off so i can only see the album name?

nicx...

One last ask. I know with Alaska, there was a method to lock the views, so that my kids don't accidentally press 'up' or 'left' at the end of a menu and have the ability to change the layout. Is this something that exists in Alaska Revisited, and I just don't know where it is?

It'll be correct as soon as the RecentlyAdded script is updated but in the mean time you can can it yourself. Here's the code -

Not yet, but it's now on my to-do list. Wink

Yeah like the kiosk mode that exists in other skins right? Would be nice Smile

Is it true that the 'night-color' theme is now no longer applicable? Is this untill you reach a universal way of 'alaska theme editting'? Will these themes and mods that are currently being build all be included in alaska revisited, or are you making it possible for everyone to adjust their own version of alaska without a few general themes?
Hope you can make some sense of this question! Thanks again for all the hard work on alaska Big Grin

Wow. I noted that there are multiple instances of "Item IDs" in the Includes_HomeIcon.xml, but they are confusing a bit. I recognize the multiple instances for the "weather" setting (autumn, summer, spring and winter) but why are there multiple instances for "Music", "Movies"...

...oop. I just saw it. The ",return" setting. Sorry to bug you. Looks like I need to mod up my mod.

Hi Hitcher,

Bit late to the party, but just wanted to say thanks for the awesome skin and all your hard work!

Found a small bug, I think. When selecting the view inside the TV shows, if you pan through them, in the upper left corner, it shows the "Season" and "Episode Count" on two separate lines, until you select "Panel Wide", when it shows both on the same line.

The other bug I reported whereby the CD Art moved out of frame was not happening on my home system, however, it still happens on my work laptop, so I cannot comment on why.

That's so the Episode count doesn't overlap the title in that view mode.

Non-16:9 resolution?

Ah. Gotcha!

Hitcher Wrote:Non-16:9 resolution?

I don't think so - it happens on my laptop even when in windowed mode. (Unless windowed mode is simply a percentage of the original screen size.)

Hitcher,
Could you add skin version numbers to the Skin selection list box, please?

- Hitcher - 2011-01-12

Good idea, done for next release.
