It's not nitpicking. All developers love to fix bugs like this!

Wink

(Seriously. Most developers - myself included - actually HATE little bugs like these, and do aspire to perfection. It's a little bit anal, but in the long run, very much worth it.)

On the Home Screen, Horizontal Layout. Press and hold 'Down' and the you will quickly scroll through all the options for the current selection (for example: Movies -> New Movies -> Studios...) until reaching the very last option. Press and hold 'Up' however will not scroll all the way to the first option, it will stop on the 2nd (New Movies in this case)

That's just the way it works - personally I just press left or right on the submenus to get back to the main button.

Kiosk mode with search? - AshrafAnsari - 2011-01-16

Hitcher Wrote:Not yet, but it's now on my to-do list. Wink

Is there any way that you could add som kind of kiosk mode that doesn't remove the ability to search the library? I really like having the option of disabling changes to the interface/listings as I frequently have people over that tend to mess things up. But it would be really nice to still be able to search through my stuff. Thanks for a GREAT skin btw! Smile

Possible bug, I think linked to TV Tunes.

TV Tunes is meant to play the theme at a set volume, I have mine set to play slightly lower volume than 0.0db (Around -8db) but I have noticed that the volume seems to stay at that level when playing videos. It's meant to return to normal volume as far as I remember.

Cheers

Yeah, TV Tunes bug nothing to do with the skin.

Which script is Alaska using? Because for example Alaska is showing me this sign for Dexter although I have all 60 episodes of the five seasons and season 6 is yet to come. Huh

- Hitcher - 2011-01-16

Recently Added script.

Thanks!
Btw: I get it now. I thought it would search thetvdb.com or something else and tell me if there are new episodes available, but that's not the case here. Wink

Possible Bug:

When browsing pictures, e.g in "Panel Wide" view and pressing right on the far right side, the redo dot appears and you can quickly browse up and down.

Unfortunately, you cannot leave this browse mode by pressing left or else. Only restarting XBMC fixes this.

Thanks for the new versions hitcher. I LOVE the new themes! Big Grin

Cheers, fixed for next update.

Or to fix it yourself in the mean time -

Edit Includes.xml > Line 1380 > from <onleft>503</onleft> to <onleft>55</onleft>

Does anyone know why does my skin keeps reverting back to confluence after a day or so of running xbmc?

Edit: just realised there was an update, is that the reason?

- George - 2011-01-16

Thanks for all of your hard work, Hitcher. I really like the 2.4.0 version and the Aksala theme just made my XBMC so much prettier. But I guess I have to thank ddlooping for that :-)
