Thank you so much for the version you updated. It is working perfectly, I've had pandora playing for the last 45 minutes without it stopping like it used to. Is the project out on GitHub or somewhere else? I wouldn't mind contributing to it. I also noticed that the pandora logo won't hide even when toggled and wouldn't mind trying to fix that.

This URL has been posted on here a few times, not sure if it is the most up to date but it's the one I've been pulling from and its been working for me:

That looks great! I see that this addon is already setup to have multiple skin support. You could probably easily add your files in as a new skin option for everyone and pull request it back to the main repo.

anyone else having issues with the add in today (July 9th)?

On both Windows and Linux machines, the plugin will load up, the pandora screen opens, but no stations.

I tried the build from Fusion, and the newatv2user build

Works fine in Win7 and ATV2.
Looks like I use 1.2.10-git

thanks!

seems to be a problem with one of my providers (unblock-us).

I'm sure I'm not the only one who uses them

fwiw, I'm using version 1.3.02, so you may be a little behind, but, if it ain't broke...

I constantly had problems with this plugin while I was on unblock-us. Since moving to http://tunlr.net/ I've had zero issues with the plugin. No NFL or NHL at the moment so I figured it was a good time to try the free alternative! Disclaimer: I'm not associated with either of the sites Smile

RE: [RELEASE] Pandora Radio (Script) Music Addon (Updated 2011-11-13 : V1.2.8) - zosky - 2013-07-30

tunlr.net + dnsmasq (ddwrt) + this = awesome sauce !!!
i got it working in a browser, but the plugin sent me into a bit of a tailspin ...

after skunking around the python files
i found this reaches out to the sub-domain tuner
meanwhile i only had a dnsmasq rule for www
once i added that ... A1 !!!

hope that helps someone.

thanks yall !!

Hey guys, just popping in here to share my experience with the Pandora Plugin (its called Pandora Json now?)
I have an Android TV with XBMC loaded on it - and I got this to work via the unblock-us service in India.

It was pretty straight forward actually and I used this video to help set it up.

Hey all. Just to keep this on topic (and not of unblocking\forwarding services which should be talked about elsewhere) :

I compared the code at these two spots, and they are binarily the same:
https://www.box.com/s/qs9qac68mn2nr0qb68bi
https://github.com/newatv2user/script.xbmc.pandorajson

So that leaves these three two webpages (that I know of) with different Pandora clients we can use:

https://github.com/newatv2user/script.xbmc.pandorajson
https://github.com/k3oni/script.xbmc.pandora
http://www.xbmchub.com/blog/download/pandora-internet-radio-for-xbmc/

EDIT: I have removed the client hosted at xbmchub, as they are redirecting people to this thread for support. If they are not going to support their own version then apparently their version is obsolete.

Out of curiosity, does this pandora plugin provide the higher bitrate files with the pandora one account or the lower quality stuff?
Thanks!

If your using the version below and have a pandora one account then yes it does.

https://app.box.com/s/qs9qac68mn2nr0qb68bi

After launching the app hit the down arrow under the thumbs up thumbs down buttons and it will exit out to full screen XBMC which will show the current bitrate (average 190-192).

Excellent, thank you! One more request, any links on how to install/setup the script? I've never done one in xbmc beforeSad

It is very simple. Please refer to the following link: http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Add-on_manager#How_to_install_from_a_ZIP_file
