I have a new tv series, so I do a search for Blackadder for example, then it just says try this thread, but does not take me to the post that I need to find Blackadder, so now I have to go through 54 pages just to find out where Blackadder is.

Maybe a website is needed? I can help with hosting and other stuff, all free of course.

Mcborzu beat me to it! Laugh

God Dammit another bloody bookmark to add lol

Personally it is good to download the pack once, but gets tedious downloading every update, I personally find.

Much better downloading once, then being able to find.

I still think that maybe a specialised website would be of benefit though, I believe that the clearart was your idea? So you could have the website, links to amazon, forums etc etc, I know that you probaly don't get much time, but others would help and chip in at the same time.

I still would love to see Clearart being used for movies as well, maybe as a side dish, but I think for some movies, they would look superb.

Regards

Mark

thetvdb will be that specialized website, which the owner said he'll add logos, until then we just make logos and keep things organized.

I think you underestimate the sheer number of movies and the time that would have to go into a project like that.
Not saying it's impossible but like someone else said it wouldn't really serve much of a purpose.
It would just be a huge timesink for anyone crazy enough to get involved.

I tried after 3-4 hours of doing just the numbers and a couple of the A's in my library I said forget it. Finding good sources for 80's-90's movies, ugh...

Plus what makes TV logos easier is TV logos are iconic and even for odd shows you can find a decent source.

Plenty of movie font's out there though, I mean if you look at the studio logos, all what you need to do really is just have the font and whack out the title for the film.

You don't really need to do any work, e.g graphic designing, but having say the Star Trek font, just saying Star Trek and bobs your uncle.

I know not every movie would have a font, but if there is a special little place where you could have for example

The A-Team Movie

It would look cool

Noticed the other day that the current Whose Line Is It Anyway (UK) logo is from the US show and blurry/poor quality. So spent a few hours creating this Nerd

1. The link is in the first post. Just keep checking here, and when you need to, pop over to the first post and click through.... I think mcborzu's right about just waiting on TheTVDB support.

2. I think movies would be entirely too much to try to accomplish, but what you're suggesting would be perfect for making Sets stand out....

A lot of mine were missed at some point in the original package, I'm not sure why.
This logo in particular was a god damn pain in the ass to trace btw... took a long time.
