It just uses your fanart, so nothing new is needed. I've found that 90+% of them are framed perfectly within the mask I created for it.
I don't wanna create the need for extra images that would only be used in one skin so I try to create clever ways of using whats available

Looks real nice. Have you considered changing your movies icon. Seems a little out of place and resembles books more than a shelf of dvds.
Overall it is a very well put together homepage.

Will it be possible to add custom playlists to the menu? Either as a new icon like in the icon view of Alaska Revisited or along the lines of Aeon65 (It lets you add entries from within XBMC) or as a submenu item in the middle column (preferably above the other filters)
To me personally it wouldn't matter if i have to alter a few lines in an xml file.
The absence of this possibility would probably be the only reason not to choose this skin over Alaska.
Also, I like your taste in music
