- Bogga - 2011-10-28 Bogga Wrote:This addon worked like a charm... but suddenly it stopped working. I haven't changed a thing (unless some auto update screwed me). I can search for subtitles and it says "downloading" but afterwards it tells me "error extracting subtitles". Is there a solution I missed or? That's the problem I've got... - amet - 2011-10-28 Bogga Wrote:That's the problem I've got... I give up - Bogga - 2011-10-28 amet Wrote:I give up Haha I know you need the log. I just told you what wasn't working for me... Married, kids, dogs, job... I need some time to get this done (get you that log) - elvisramalho - 2011-10-29 Hi, I've searched and didn't saw this mentioned (but sorry if it is): When using icefilms (or any other streaming addon), subtitles are not stored on disk and are used 'on-the-fly' and this works great as long as the subtitles are not in a compressed file (zip, rar, ...). If it's a compressed file, i can choose the subtitle but it wont show... can anyone help me out? Thanks in advance - CyberEvil - 2011-10-31 Hi Amet, since the latest update (Eden latest worked fine until XBMC Subtiles got its update) if I select the "seach manually" option, or "addon settings", or other options (such as the search using another subtitles page) it doesn't work. I mean, I can't hit "Enter" on those options. The menus only are not working, the addon itself is fine. If I rollback the addon to the one listed here as latest: https://github.com/amet/script.xbmc.subtitles/downloads menus works fine (tho, using the old Subtitles interface), until I get the automatic update call to the one in the official repository. The newer interface is nicer, so allowing those buttons to work would be awesome! Thank you so much for the effort! Love subtitles - amet - 2011-10-31 CyberEvil Wrote:Hi Amet, since the latest update (Eden latest worked fine until XBMC Subtiles got its update) if I select the "seach manually" option, or "addon settings", or other options (such as the search using another subtitles page) it doesn't work. Let's see the log for a start, I use the latest Eden-pre xbmc with latest xbmc subtitles without issues - bartmans - 2011-10-31 amet Wrote:hard to say without a debug logTried this weekend, still get the same error from Bierdopje about series not having an ID. I need a million $ US + that log to become debug log - CyberEvil - 2011-11-01 amet Wrote:Since latest update of what? Since the Subtitles addon was updated, its buttons (search on ArgenTeam, search on SubdivX, Manual Search String, Addon Settings, etc) are not working (can move around them, but not "select" the options - "Enter" does nothing). Using revision 1e015aa and the latest Subtitles release of the official repository, which gets "auto updated" if I roll back to the old Subtitles release from that URL I posted earlier, it works fine (old interface). This new Subtitles update breaks that menu for me, but the subtitles are being search. Just can't swap "providers" or manually entering a string after the update. I just forced the Subtitles Addon to not autoupdate, keeping the old version. Thanks a lot! - jakudo - 2011-11-01 Hi, thanks for this great plugin! I'm using two servers - opensubtitles and titulky.com (Czech and Slovak subtitles). Opensubtitles works great but it can't find any subtitles on titulky.com (even I know the subtitles are there). Is there some special set up for that or is it a bug? Thanks - amet - 2011-11-01 jakudo Wrote:Hi, thanks for this great plugin! When I get home (from work), I'll check it - Lklinggaard - 2011-11-01 Apple TV 2 iOS 4.4.1 XBMC PRE-11.0 latest nightly build. I have a prob. It looks like I can not download the subtitles anymore. The Addon can find the subtitles on Subscene and opensub, but when I press download, it just writes the it is downloading. I can see in the log file on line 2473 Quote:Failed to save subtitles to '/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/XBMC/userdata/addon_data/script.xbmc.subtitles/sub_tmp/subscene.zip' I hope somebody can help on how to fix this..
