Remote Share - Could Not Connect To Network Server - DruTheFu - 2010-06-13 So I have been using XBMC for years now with my original softmodded Xbox1, and have been able to stream via my PC and the media files stored on it. I have my 'sources' configured through SMB shares. Everything was working perfectly, then out of the blue, I am no longer able to access these previously working shares. I receive the error "Remote Share - Could Not Connect to Network Server". I am successfully able to FTP to the XBox, access files via FTP, and within the XBox1, I am able to see updated weather and access Apple Movie Trailers. So in other words, it is still connected to the Internet and my LAN, and I can still FTP. I have been Google'ing and am becoming very frustrated because I am unable to resolve this. My XBMC build is "XBMC-9.04.1-FIXED-BABYLON-T3CH". I was running an older version when this error began, and I've updated to this version hoping to fix the problem, but I am still getting the same error. PLEASE HELP! Update!!! - DruTheFu - 2010-06-13 Figured it out. I uninstalled Acronis software I installed on my machine a couple weeks back, and now the Share drives are functioning correctly like I would expect. |
