Oh ok. Oh well, I don't have individual folders for each movie. I guess I will just write my own python postscript to handle this.

Thanks for the great app though! Love it.

1. Not file naming? I.e do you refer to the renaming feature?

2. How can I keep the original release name of the folder and leave files untouched - but still download subs, trailers, meta data and update XBMC?

My problem (or just incorrect configuration):
SABnzbd downloads and saves in K:\completed-dls\Movies\
Example download: Black Swan 2010 720p BRRip AC3 x264 MacGuffin

CouchPotato is setup with all Extras enabled.

Renaming is also enabled:
Download folder: K:\completed-dls\Movies
Movie destination: K:\Movies
Folder naming:
File naming:

If I leave Folder naming and File naming empty it wont do any of the extra stuffs or move the download from Download folder to Movie destination
I've tried with <original> but that renamed the folder to the file name.

I also want to use the name separator, to replace all the spaces with dots.

How can I do this?

@njumlin
To keep the original filename use <original> in the renamer. This is the original name of the movie file, not the folder.
When using <original> the separator option won't be used.

Hey guys, installed a fresh copy of couchpotato 3 times now, however no films are downloading, copied my log to pastebin if anyone could have quick look and let me know any ideas?

http://pastebin.com/wRmiQMdQ

Edit: my username and apikey are 100% correct.

Alright! I am running Couch Potato on my FreeNAS. I have added the shutdown command to a shell script that runs before my FreeNAS shuts down. This ensures the service is stopped properly before shutdown.

When I run with authentication or without authentication I get the same result. The command successfully stops Couch Potato but returns the following:

Code:
freenas:/mnt/RAIDZ# fetch "http://192.168.1.112:5000/config/exit/"
fetch: http://192.168.1.112:5000/config/exit/: Unknown error: 0

This error causes my shutdown script to break. Sad

Please help! I will also submit a bug...

So you're saying there isn't any way to keep the original folder name? (Just move files and replace spaces with dots)

Well...pretty obvious: There are no movies currently available?
What exactly are you searching for? Did you try a manual search, brought it up any results? How about the retention of the search-results?

- RuudBurger - 2011-03-08

@tomhall12345
What version, os etc?, the RSS url seems weird, "term" doesnt start with "tt", for the movie id.

@bmcclure937
Thats because CP has shutdown and thus can't send back a response. You need to catch that error somehow.

@njumlin
Nope, its Lighthouse. So I will fix it eventually Wink

The next step to get CouchPotato more organized, is creating it's own "forum". Now, I always felt a forum is to "heavy" for CouchPotato.
Here is where Tender comes in. It connects nicely with Lighthouse (the ticket system I moved to) and so I want to move all discussions/problems/suggestions etc to Tender. This way every discussion can have it's own topic, I can mark discussions solved. People don't have to scan through 100+ pages to solve a problem that way Wink
No more "could you create a ticket for that please?"! I can easily create tickets from within a discussion itself. Easy peasy.

Of course the forums still can be used, but will be less cluttered with Q&A.
The new "support forum" can be found at http://couchpotato.tenderapp.com

But I need your help! It would be nice to have a few people who can help me with support. Just responding on the more "basic" questions, or pointing them in the right direction. So if you like to help, give me a PM!

Retention set to 700 days, I know for sure at least 8 of the films are out and meet the required specs, if I delete all pending films then add one it will download, if I add any more I get the same as this.

I have seen this happen a couple of times. Try restarting CP to see if it grabs stuff..... No idea what is wrong.

I am not sure CP is working for me also... I have added a movie that is about to be released. I have an NZBMatrix VIP account, which is the ONLY provider I have checked in CP. I manually check the NZBMatrix web site and I see that the movie is out, at the right quality and resolution. But CP fails to find it and snatch.

I have tried deleting the entry and all entries and adding it anew. I have forced to do a check both of the individual movie and the whole wanted list. I have also even deleted the db file, restarting and then adding the movie. Nothing works.

I have tested CP with other older movie releases and it snatches the movie right away. It snatches them even if I have 10 entries in my Wanted list.

Is that possibly it discards the snatching if there is only version of the movie release?

For now, I have resorted to manually downloading the nnzb file to the SABNZBD watch folder. Then, in SAB, I set the category of the download to "Movie".

The nice thing is that after downloading, CP locates the movie, does its renaming and scraping, and nicely adds it to my XBMC library. I then go and delete the watched entry in CP.

I would love to find a solution.

Many thanks for this amazing software. I will be donating generously once it becomes standard in my movie workflow.

Please post it on Lighthouse, including a log file Wink
Trying to keep the forums clean from now on.

Sorry Ruud... I posted the issue to tenderapp... and I just noticed that it disappeared. I re-read your post above and realize that I should have posted to your Lighthouse link... Should I re-post to Lighthouse?

I am a newbie, and I am not a developer - thus unaware of the proper protocols.

- RuudBurger - 2011-03-09

I see it did get in tenderapp but for some reason was marked as spam. Hold on!
