possible your quality profile is too narrow for couchpotato to find good results, or your providers are not complete.
Couchpotato finds movies for me a lot, in fact, so much I rarely use other ways to download movies ( i have a custom profile set from r5 to brrips).

Love the app, it works a treat. Just a quick question though, is there anyway to better manage 3d files? There are multiple different types of 3d rips out there, but I'm only really interested in SBS versions. I can't see a way to do this in CP at the moment. Thanks.

Can anyone tell me why 'Cowboys.And.Aliens.2011.EXTENDED.720p.BluRay.x264-CROSSBOW' is being renamed to 'Movies,.Aspirin.and.Vultures.2005.1080P.bluray' ?
how the heck do i fix this? Cowboys and aliens is in the wanted list too.

But a new problem is couchpotato does not recognise and ampersand (&) and misses it out when renaming, it also is missing when you add the movie to the wanted list, it simply names then "Cowboys Aliens" instead of "Cowboys & Aliens".

yea think the ampersand was causing the problems but now the same problem of movies info being scraped wrong is happening, I think I will just wait for the next version as its just not working for me.
All i really want is a simple renaming/scraping/moving software for movies like sickbeard is for tv.

I want to set up Couch Potato so that it moves my downloaded movie on my HTPC to a folder on externally connected NAS drive. How do I get it to do this?
I tried "/Volumes/Films" but this didn't work.
Films being the film directory on the root of my NAS where I want Couch Potato to move my films to.
The movie file stayed in the downloads folder of Openelec.
Great app btw.

also some feedback:
i really like the app so far, its a great thing, but needs improvements, for example i dont like that on every startup it extracts a new folder in Temp like "_MEIxxxxx", it would be better for me personally if it would install/extract once in Program Files and stay there in an permanent folder, therefore also getting a fast startup of the app..

BRRips do not come in the same quality and are generally worse than the 720p-releases, so CP searches with BRRip and BDRip excluded.

well yes i noticed that, but the question is why does it exclude br and bdrips without any user input, because for example i found brrips from HolyRoses & ExtraTorrentR on tpb to be great for me in the size/quality ratio.
edit: ok found a workaround, by searching for br-rip, editing quality size for it, and by setting "x264, 720p" in required words, now it downloads pretty much the releases i want weee !

Is there a way to prevent the download of more than one disk?? Several releases have ended up as Title - CD1 and Title - CD2 now. I'm only searching for HD titles. Disk 1 looks like it's always a sample (a small file), which i do NOT want to have in my library, and I want CD2 to be removed in the filename/Title in the second "disk".
Any clever minds out there that have a solution?

yes, I remember being blown away by the preview and I still look forward for the next release, this software is really impressive and already saved me dozens of hours searching for the same movie again and again till it's released
