Because <cd> is replace with ' cd1'.
Otherwise when you have '<name> <cd1>.<ext>' you would get 'The Big Lebowski .mkv' if no cd is set. Thats why the space is in <cd>

if CP isn't finding movie-trailer.ext or filename-trailer.ext for my movies can I manually download trailers? if so what file format do they need to be in?

can I download american.pie-trailer.mov and use that or do I need to rename to movie-trailer.ext

So is there anyway to get it to rename the file to The Big Lebowski-cd1.mkv ?

- RuudBurger - 2010-08-04 20:25

Nope. If you add a '-' you will get 'The Big Lebowski-.mkv' if there is one cd. So thats not gonna work anyway Wink

I will have to check when I get home, but only options I saw was the two different file naming, and a quality settings 480, 720, 1080 I have scanned with all quality and still have movies not being found.

maybe there was an update or a different website its searching now?

Ah, trailer search doesn't work with nested folders yet.

so would

/mnt/1tb/Movies/American.Pie

be a nested folder I have CP move all my downloads to /mnt/1tb/Movies

Nope, and it doesnt find that?

I have renamed several folders and movie files names because they were all over the board my naming scheme is now:
Folder.Name(Year)
Movie.Name(year).mkv
Movie.Name(year).tbn
Movie.Name(year).jpg

so maybe CP will be able to better find trailers for my movies

but american Pie is one off the top of my head it couldn't find, also when I press the info button in Xbmc on this movie it doesn't find a trailer to stream either

I still can't get autostart to work.
I can use "sudo /etc/init.d/couchpotato start" to start it though.

Did you try: http://wiki.github.com/RuudBurger/CouchPotato/initd-script-wont-start-at-bootup ?

- ClayM - 2010-08-05 19:37

Is there a way to send an xbmc update command out after a movie has been processed?
