Would it be possible to let popup Movie Info Screen instead of Movie Info Style ?
Here screenshots to show what i mean.

In the Viewtype Old Multiplex, I have the settings set to 'Trigger' (I have to press up for the Info popup) but the sidemenu activates over the Info popup. I think it needs to be changed where you press Up twice to activate the sidemenu.
How hard would it be to replace the Multiwall info popup with the Old Multiplex info popup? The Old multiplex popup looks awesome, IMO.

hmm, not 100% possible because actors is only available in DialogVideoInfo. if you want to do it yourself, you´d simply have to adjust the ShowcaseInfoPaneMovies include.

Seems inconsistent to me. Aswell as spacing; screenshot doesn't show it but the item I added is 'grooveshark', the whole word doesnt show so it scrolls - doesnt look too good.
There´s nothing we can do to improve that wraplist behaviour. just simply rename the favorites before adding them to the main menu. It´s better in font_rework branch because of the font.

lol, good question. It's all fixed now, so disregard. One slight change, can you make the text all caps (for the movie name) like the original font version?
One more thing, I know its probably user error. But why don't my extra thumbs show?
The thumbs are saved like this (for example)
Watchmen
--movie.avi
--poster.jpg
--fanart.jpg
--folder.jpg
/extrathumbs/
----thumb1.jpg
----thumb2.jpg

How easy would it be to add/build a submenu option to Movies for HD. So it would pull anything in the library that either has (BluRay), (720p), (1080p) in the filename or get this info from the file metadata in the same way it builds the flags?
I realise it can be sort of managed with sets but this then impacts browsing the whole collection by filename.

Only possible with a smart playlist, will add the ability to add submenu items in the near future.

Thanks for that, have been using XBMC and Aeon65 (as you know) for quite a while now and never used the smart playlist. Great what you can do with it. Will be a big bonus when enabled in the submenu.
Speaking of the submenu, there seems to be a rogue "Songs" which has found its way under Movies.

I hate to keep bugging, but I've added my item to the favourites - and it works via the 'S' menu -> favourites -> [my item]
but I still see no option to add it to the main menu through aeon settings -> add menu item

Hi SophT, are you using the lastest Aeon65 build from GitHub as described on the first page of this thread as there is no longer a menu item called "add menu item" it is Settings\Main Menu\Menu Items, then you select the "NEW ITEM" option.

yes, I'm using a fresh git checkout from yesterday (less than 24 hours old) - and it is the settings->Main Menu -> menu items -> add new item that I'm talking about, I just short-handed it, sorry
But it doesn't seem to work - clicking 'enter' on add new item goes to what appears to be an empty list

EDIT: Ok so I checked out the font_rework branch.. and I gotta say: nooooo. Please do not destroy Aeon
The new font takes the class right out of Aeon65. And characters like ÅÄÖ does not work. They are presented as åäö i.e. VäDER :/Main menu items are to chubby.
I get that you want to change the font to a proven free font, so we can add the skin to addons. But don't change it just because. We need to find a really classy font that doesn't sink the design of the skin. This one does in my opinion.

hey guy, relax. it takes 2 minutes to add a new font (at least in most cases), the harder part is finding a good font. i didn´t spend too much time on searching for one, i now checked again and found something.Looks very nice to me, perhaps you agree with me on that one.
