Install Plugins in the latest xbmc? - Numus - 2010-07-20
I am trying to get launcher to work, but since plugins have been replaced by addons how do you manually get xbmc to recognize a folder as the plugins and add that as source?

Sigh, doesn't look like my day... Guess all the guides on xbmc will have to be rewritten...

No, all that has to be altered is the launcher plugin. Once it's in the repo, users get it like they get any other addon.
