Video thumb doesn't change until library update - kjlowe - 2010-07-31
When I change a thumbnail for the TV show series, season or show it only takes effect once I restart xbmc or update the library. Fan art on the other hand does take effect immediately.
Any ideas?
I'm running the confluence skin with the camelot release.

It should take effect immediately (I presume you're doing this from the "Get Thumb" option on the video information dialog). If it doesn't it means that for whatever reason a texture couldn't be free'd.

Hi jmarshall. Here's a little more information. Maybe this will help.
I turned on debug logging. I then started xbmc in which I navigated to movies, pressed the info button over the first movie (2012), changed the thumbnail with Get Thumb, then navigated back to the home screen with BKSP and closed XBMC.

To be honest I can't remember whether this was 100% working in Camelot or not.
