analog 5.1 audio output problem - alda - 2010-08-09 I installed ubuntu 10.04 + xbmc as in this link : http://n00bsonubuntu.com/content/how-install-xbmc-ubuntu-1004-lts-lucid-lynx to enable 5.1 analog output I added to /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf this line : options snd-hda-intel model=3stack-6ch-dig and 6ch mode was enabled in alsamixer. when I will use : speaker-test -Dplugurround51 -c6 -l1 -twav than I can hear sound from each speaker I XBMC I set in setting : output analog and NO downmix. But under movie I can hear sound from all speakers, but it isn't 5.1 but looks like that in each speaker is the same sound. Also CPU load is very high and video playback isnt smooth. Any idea what I did wrong ? How can I solve ? Thanks Alda |
