Movie and album covers are not shown on Android remote - AussieFries - 2010-08-29 My movie and album covers are displayed in XBMC but not on my Android Remote. I pressed 'Download Covers' on the remote several times, but this didn't help. I run T3CH XBMC 2010-07-08 SVN rev30442 on the Xbox 1. My Android remote control version is v0.8.3-beta1 Rev 686. What did I forget? - gfoldv - 2010-08-29 Hit "Clear Cache" in the Download Covers than try to download the Movie Posters again. Let's see if that helps. - AussieFries - 2010-08-30 Clearing the cache didn't work unfortunately. Any other suggestions? - the_alien - 2010-08-30 Try to download the covers and post the android log. - AussieFries - 2010-09-01 Generated with SendLog 1.0.4 http://l6n.org/android/ HTC Legend legend 2.1 ERD79 User 23%, System 8%, IOW 0%, IRQ 0% User 73 + Nice 0 + Sys 28 + Idle 211 + IOW 0 + IRQ 0 + SIRQ 0 = 312 PID CPU% S #THR VSS RSS PCY UID Name 78 17% S 62 293276K 61364K fg system system_server 3086 5% R 19 162448K 26948K bg app_54 com.tni.TasKiller 11076 2% S 7 131576K 20564K fg app_74 org.l6n.sendlog 3598 1% S 24 208160K 47312K bg nobody com.htc.launcher 11086 1% R 1 900K 376K fg app_74 top 478 0% S 20 137288K 19032K bg app_80 divi.clock 19 0% S 1 0K 0K fg root microp_work_q 8 0% S 1 0K 0K fg root kblockd/0 9 0% S 1 0K 0K fg root kmmcd 10 0% S 1 0K 0K fg root btaddconn 11 0% S 1 0K 0K fg root btdelconn 12 0% S 1 0K 0K fg root kondemand/0 13 0% S 1 0K 0K fg root smd_tty 14 0% S 1 0K 0K fg root qmi 15 0% D 1 0K 0K fg root rpcrouter 16 0% S 1 0K 0K fg root detection/0 17 0% S 1 0K 0K fg root krpcserversd 18 0% S 1 0K 0K fg root button/0 20 0% S 1 0K 0K fg root pdflush 21 0% S 1 0K 0K fg root pdflush 22 0% S 1 0K 0K fg root kswapd0 23 0% S 1 0K 0K fg root aio/0 25 0% S 1 0K 0K fg root kadspd 1 0% S 1 296K 212K fg root /init 39 0% S 1 0K 0K fg root rmnet/0 40 0% S 1 0K 0K fg root mtdblockd 41 0% S 1 0K 0K fg root gs_tty 42 0% S 1 0K 0K fg root USB mass_storag 44 0% S 1 0K 0K fg root synaptics_wq 45 0% S 1 0K 0K fg root ls_wq/0 46 0% S 1 0K 0K fg root curcial_wq 47 0% S 1 0K 0K fg root kstriped 48 0% S 1 0K 0K fg root hid_compat 51 0% S 1 0K 0K fg root krfcommd 52 0% S 1 796K 252K fg system /system/bin/servicemanager 53 0% S 1 828K 376K fg root /system/bin/vold 54 0% S 1 656K 224K fg root /system/bin/debuggerd 55 0% S 9 11192K 1104K fg radio /system/bin/rild 56 0% S 1 102288K 24924K fg root zygote 57 0% S 7 33084K 4940K fg media /system/bin/mediaserver 58 0% S 1 1128K 544K fg bluetoot /system/bin/dbus-daemon 59 0% S 1 804K 336K fg root /system/bin/installd 60 0% S 1 1624K 436K fg keystore /system/bin/keystore 61 0% S 1 720K 348K fg compass /system/bin/akmd 73 0% D 1 0K 0K fg root snd_rpc 75 0% S 1 0K 0K fg root mmcqd 101 0% D 1 0K 0K fg root audmgr_rpc 136 0% S 9 142776K 26452K fg app_4 com.htc.android.htcime 139 0% S 21 196152K 35048K fg radio com.android.phone 141 0% S 30 160148K 30024K bg app_8 android.process.acore 151 0% S 19 146744K 24940K fg app_1 com.google.process.gapps 156 0% S 16 134764K 18408K bg app_72 org.hermit.dazzle 216 0% S 21 140440K 25448K bg app_11 android.process.media 227 0% S 5 122224K 19464K bg app_64 a.Vol 251 0% S 5 123808K 19240K bg app_49 com.htc.android.worldclock 260 0% S 7 133268K 25320K bg system com.htc.RosieUtility 302 0% S 10 134992K 25036K bg app_8 com.android.htccontacts 337 0% S 13 129400K 18280K bg app_2 com.htc.htcMessageUploader 366 0% S 6 123596K 19224K bg app_12 com.htc.opensense.pluginmanager 386 0% S 9 127972K 21800K bg app_75 com.smartandroidapps.missedcall 484 0% S 7 123476K 17800K bg app_55 com.google.code.apndroid 758 0% S 10 128060K 22084K bg app_68 net.everythingandroid.smspopup 7341 0% S 1 141628K 15972K bg app_3 com.htc.bgp 10770 0% S 5 128448K 20948K bg app_0 com.htc 10852 0% S 7 133076K 23128K bg app_3 com.htc.bg 10860 0% S 13 131880K 21720K bg app_3 com.htc.bgp 10985 0% S 7 128068K 26284K bg app_3 com.htc.calendar 11030 0% S 5 130400K 21560K bg app_71 org.xbmc.android.remote 11055 0% S 9 130728K 19168K bg app_42 com.android.mms 34 0% S 1 0K 0K fg root panel_on/0 2 0% S 1 0K 0K fg root kthreadd 3 0% S 1 0K 0K fg root ksoftirqd/0 4 0% S 1 0K 0K fg root watchdog/0 5 0% S 1 0K 0K fg root events/0 6 0% S 1 0K 0K fg root khelper 7 0% S 1 0K 0K fg root suspend --- end of log - the_alien - 2010-09-01 Thats the process list, not the log file. And the remote isn't even running. - AussieFries - 2010-09-01 Sorry, previous post has been edited now. Please advise. - the_alien - 2010-09-01 That's still no log but the list of the running processes. - AussieFries - 2010-09-01 I followed the instructions in the FAQ. This is what the SendLog application produced (I chose "Raw") The application which loads when I I run ddms.bat couldn't find any log. Is there any other way to find or generate a log file? - the_alien - 2010-09-01 If I run sendlog, the log entries are below the process list. Should look like this: D/dalvikvm( 2977): GC_FOR_MALLOC freed 14 objects / 514736 bytes in 27ms E/Tethering( 126): attempting to remove unknown iface (usb0), ignoring D/WifiService( 126): ACTION_BATTERY_CHANGED pluggedType: 0 D/dalvikvm( 1438): GC_EXPLICIT freed 7466 objects / 447976 bytes in 74ms D/NetworkLocationProvider( 126): onDataConnectionStateChanged 1 - AussieFries - 2010-09-02 double - sorry - AussieFries - 2010-09-02 SendLog didn't work for me but I found a great free app in the Android Market that does the work much better: Logger. It's shows realtime logging and you can easily save a log to your SDcard. Please find below an excerpt of the log. Please let me know if you need any further info. What do you see if you open one of the links above with a webbrowser? Edit: Talked to cptspiff and the microhttpd was introduced with json rpc. None of it ever made it into the Xbox version. The version you are running is too new and the remote is using the microhttpd to download the thumbs and covers. - AussieFries - 2010-09-02 That's a pity You're mentioning my XBMC version is too new but I guess downgrading has no use as there's no Xbox version that supports microhttpd? However if a folder contains a banner.jpg, the picture will be shown when I browse on the remote and I open the mp3 - the_alien - 2010-09-02 The remote checks the build version of XBMC. So it thinks that this revision already has microhttpd, every other build should have it. But not the XBox ones. We should maybe check more carefully and exclude the builds that contain "T3CH". Will have to investigate further. About the downgrading: That would work. There shouldn't be any problem with covers and the old Babylon build. |
