Pulse-eight replied to my concerns and decided that I most likely have a defective unit. Despite my belligerent attitude, they seem very helpful. Looks like I might have to retract my previous statements, it won't be the first time for that... we'll see.

Well, we only want to be helpful, I run Pulse-Eight and topfs2 was trying to be helpful with your concerns also, no-one is out to get you and cause you problems intentionally.
