xubuntu question - desktop scaling (like in xbmc) - Jyujinkai - 2010-11-08

Hi.. I know this is slightly off topic but I thought you guys might know. I am using a xubuntu install as a media player as well as some other things.. so I am running xbmc as an application so I have acess to the other things in xubuntu.

Anyway, as you know TV's have that kind of safe frame thing, and in XBMC there is that desktop scaler thing that allows you to set up the video by dragging the edges pf the screen so it all fits correctly to your tv's unique overlap.

Is there any such application or setting in xubuntu that dose a similar thing?

Thanks in advance
