You can use the video list view and edit the view xml to place the cover on the right. In the included xml under video details you can place the fanart higer by changing the y position. But remember when you change the include xml the changes will effect all views!

So the best thing you can do is copying the video details section and place it under the section and rename it to video details2 and change only in that section the y position.

The only problem is you have to tell video details2 to only make it visible with the new video list view, so therefore you have to know what the id number is of the view. Then only use the id number in control.isvisible(idnumber).

Just note that any changes you make to the code in the Welo handover build probably won't work in the finished version as i've made changes, additions, etc.

You might be better off waiting on your mods, at least until the alpha release.

If i may suggest 1 thing before you release the alpha: Make sure you use github or something like it to channel bug/feature requests. You'll probably get loaded with them and you need to get them in a simple overview.

Or you could clearly state you lock down the code until beta/RC.

It will support PVR later on, just not on the release.
