- Urhos - 2012-02-02 I was able to get everything working with xbmc scraping and such on my laptop. However, whenever I try to scrape info on my desktop, it is not working correctly. I set up the launcher the same exact way on my laptop, but it just doesn't work on the desktop. I have import mode set to semi-automatic and when I scan for files it doesn't even ask me to select from a list of images or game names. Is there a windows computer setting that may be causing this problem? I'm running x64 based windows 7 with the eden beta v2. - Angelscry - 2012-02-03 bakito Wrote:hi everyone I found this on the interwebYou can also use this : http://www.gwenael.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=43 - Angelscry - 2012-02-03 Urhos Wrote:I was able to get everything working with xbmc scraping and such on my laptop. If you use .lnk files, and want to start them with a specific launcher, you need to desactivate the "Shortcut (.lnk) support" option into the "Advanced Options" menu of the selected Launcher (context menu). I think I will solve your problem. This does not seem to fix the issue. I am having the same issue mentioned earlier. Does anyone else out there have a fix? fr5000? - Angelscry - 2012-02-03 Urhos Wrote:Here ya go: http://pastebin.com/kUztyZNMLauncher configuration seems correct. Have you setup the scrapers correctly?
- shaktoo - 2012-02-05 Angelscry Hi , I just want to clarify a few things. I have a huge comics library maily DC, Marvel & Archie comics . I have Multiple series Like Action comics, Batman , X-Men, Civil war Series, Final crisis series etc etc including the new 52 , daredevil. I have recenlty scraped all these using comicvine & comicrack. All these are in a single folder called " Comics "(but all .cbr files are in their own folders) .. yeah I know how Imaginative . Question is this .. to use Adv launcher for comics .. I need to setup 3 folders 1-books 2-covers 3- fanarts... so does that mean I transfer all my comicvine tagged .CBR comics ( all into their own folders ) into the books folder ? or again should i be creating seperate folders for seperate characters( in video you use Batman as an example ) sorry this would seem extremely silly but I am stumped at this stage - Angelscry - 2012-02-05 shaktoo Wrote:Angelscry Hi , I just want to clarify a few things. All these are in a single folder called " Comics "(but all .cbr files are in their own folders) .. yeah I know how Imaginative .There is not really rules how you have to organize your comics collection under Advanced Launcher. Scraping recognition is based on filename not on directory structure. But If you want to sort your comics into Advanced Launcher by characters, series or issues then you need to create one launcher per character, serie or issue. Then you can manually add comics to launchers or scan a specific directory to automatically add them. In this last case that's mean 1 directory per launcher. So you can have :
So if you already have your comics sorted, into a same directory, each one into their sub directory, you just need to create 1 folder for thumbs, 1 folder for fanarts. Then create launcher pointing to each comics subdirectory for files, to the thumb directory and the fanarts directory for images. - scalpel - 2012-02-05 Angelscry Wrote:Arfff... too late... The option have been added into the last version. BTW, I did not see why you will want to control XBMC with a remote or a keyboard if you do not see XBMC screen.. I will see, If someone scpecifically need to use LIRC into this condition I will add an option to activate/desactivate LIRC. Look first and last post. Is this cause your plugin? http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=86630 - Angelscry - 2012-02-05 scalpel Wrote:Look first and last post. Is this cause your plugin?Yes, it's strongly possible that the "Auto disable/restore LIRC inputs for Linux system" feature bring by version 1.7.5 of Advanced Launcher block your remote control out of XBMC. To be sure, best way will be to rollback Advanced Launcher to version 1.7.4. It is actually possible to do it using Eden version of XBMC. Or, if you are using Dharma, you can download the version 1.7.4 of Advanced Launcher directly here : http://xbmc-advanced-launcher.googlecode.com/files/plugin.pgram.advanced.launcher-1.7.4.zip. Make some test, and tell me if you still have the problem. Now... by reading your thread, I do not see wht you want to remotely control applications, using LIRC, through XBMC when you are out off XBMC? Will not be better to directly control them using LIRC with irexec? To take your example, to close zsnes using the mute key, the .lircrc file (located into the home directory) will simply be : Code: begin Version 1.7.6 - Angelscry - 2012-02-05 Version 1.7.6 : This new version of Advanced bring some bugs fixes and a small modification into the way Advanced Launcher manage items platforms info. Concerning bugs, the scrap, save and import features for thumbs and fanarts images for recursive scan (when using sub-folder structure) are now finally fixed. Now, when you will using a sub-directory structure for your items files, all the images will be saved/imported into right folders (generally same as item folder). This version of Advanced Launcher fix also a script error occurring during scan when the "import NFO file" option was selected and when a NFO file was not found. With this version items platform information is now directly linked to the launcher platform info. That's mean that all the modification of a launcher platform info are automatically reported to all the items managed by this launcher. And there now no way to only directly modify the platform info of an item. Changelog : [list=] [*]Fix recursive thumb/fanart images scrap/save. [*]Fix recursive thumb/fanart images local import. [*]Fix bug when NFO file do not exist. [*]Create platform bonding between launcher and related items. [*]Remove modify platform option for items. Also sometimes i run programs by launcher like firefox and i listen to music in background. You have option in plugin: media should be continue/stop. So by remote control i change music, vol up/down... Option to change lirc disable is a must. I will try to include the option into the next release. - fidoboy - 2012-02-06 Angelscry Wrote:There is no problem to launch simple exe file with Advanced Launcher. I have ask you to post here the content of your launchers.xml file, because I suspect that you have miss configured your Safari and Onlive launchers. Finally i've solved it deactivating 'restore XBMC window on launch' option in Advanced Launcher configuration settings. Now the apps (Safari, Onlive, etc) works fine and no problems... I think that this option should be this way by default... - Angelscry - 2012-02-06 fidoboy Wrote:Finally i've solved it deactivating 'restore XBMC window on launch' option in Advanced Launcher configuration settings.
