Do you think you could write a script for me to copy into Autoit based on the following directory of my Roms please?

E:\Games\PSOne Roms\Roms

And the install folder for the Emulator itself is shown on the image below.

XBMC has been installed to the usual place.

I really hope you can help me out here.

Kind regards

Wiggo
The Autoit script you previously post was correct. You don't need to make another one. Roms paths are managed by Advanced Launcher and send to the autoit executable using command line. Are you sure you strat de autoit executable correctly from Advanced Launcher? How have you configured your PCSX2 launcher?

RE: [RELEASE] Advanced Launcher - Applications Launcher Addon for XBMC - wiggo - 2013-04-02

I just cannot get PCSX2 to work via the Launcher.

It runs perfectly as a standalone, but no matter how I do it, it just fails.

I've set it up to the best of my knowledge, but when I click to start it after setting it up in the launcher, it closes XBMC permanently and doesn't come back.

Please Please help.

I don't know what I did. But it's working great now.

The only thing I have to do now, is hit ALT-F4 twice to close it.

Thanks for your help anyway Angelscry.

I have setup AL to execute Chrome to launch web pages, but the problem is that it starts to open them more than one time.
So I get very many tabs.

Is there an way to fix these.

I have set it as IBM/PC compatible in the launcher.

This is my launcher xml: Launcher XML

The first launcher, I cant remember seen this problem. But not sure.

And I have tried to find the problem in the favourites that makes them open in an blank area before they open, and then need to
push back button when Im back in XBMC, but cant find these text lines in my favourites file. From this page: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=85724&pid=1333211#pid1333211
Favourites
I don' know if it could be related but for the argument must be something like this -kiosk "http://www.kanal5play.se" instead of just kanal5play.se. How do you quit Chrome to return to XBMC?

For your favourites problem. Which version of Advanced Launcher are you suing? Could you post here the line of your favourites.xml corresponding to your Chrome launcher?

I really don`t want to run in kiosk mode, because my better half like to have the X in the upper corner.
I quit Chrome with the X in the upper corner. I use a gyro mouse, with keyboard.

The version is 1.10.12 of Advanced Launcher.

Ok... so try to install the last version 1.13.1. I do not make support on deprecated versions of Advanced Launcher

RE: [RELEASE] Advanced Launcher - Applications Launcher Addon for XBMC - wiggo - 2013-04-02

Hi

Is there a way to import a file from scraped roms on RCB into Advanced Launcher please?

If so, will it mean I don't have to manually scrape the roms in?

Cheers

Wiggo

Advanced Launcher is normally able to import RCB NFO files.

I know this is a newbie question, but I successfully loaded the launcher, added a game (Angry Birds - PC) and got it to launch.
However, the XBMC window pops back to the front position 3 secs after the game launches and will continue to do so if I try to bring the game (or any other program running in the background at the time) to the front position.
Running Frodo 12.1 on Win 7.
What command or check box did I forget in order to keep the game in front of the XBMC screen until I am ready to return to the media center program?

Thanks for any help in advance!
M..
Are you using XBMC Launcher at the same time?

Thanks, Angelscry.... I uninstalled Launcher altogether and that did the trick. I'll reinstall when I learn more about scripting, so I can customize it not to run when I open games. Thanks again! Big Grin

Thanks Angelscry.... I just uninstalled the launcher until I learn how to write a script that will allow it to close and open again when loading a game.

I have now updated to the latest version, I`m running the latest stable of XBMC also.
But it still opens many tabs in Chrome, the same tab all the time.
This you can just look away from. I have found another solution for this.
I make an standalone launcher, chrome as app, then adds arguments: --app=http://www.xxx.xx/ (double space in the start)
Then it starts as an app with the X in upper right.

And I have changed the favorites but it still opens a page in XBMC like it should have shown more programs. (wall)

But now I have another problem. When I sit and make the launchers, XBMC/AL hangs and every launcher I have made disappears.
Here is the log, from when it happend.. Not funny when I have made 6 of them..... LOG

Or maybe it is possible to just make a launcher for an link, that is created from inside chrome?

Hi again lol

Just came across a problem.

When I scan new roms into the the add on, I'm getting this title for every single game: Recherche multi-critères

Has anyone come across this problem before, if so, can you help me out please?

Humm... The problem is that Multi-critères is not a string managed by Advanced Launcher. Could you send a screenshot? I'm actually suspecting that the problem comes from the skin you are using which is not able to display correctly XBMC basic views.

Hi Angelscry

I did a bit of digging in the following...Roaming\XBMC\userdata\addon_data\plugin.program.advanced.launcher\backups....and I saw that all the scripts in that folder had what I mentioned on the previous post.

Each of the 50 roms or so that I added (All various formats), ended up having that name as the title. I'm suspecting it has something to do with NFO output from RCM as I used that to grab the online info first, before importing into Advanced Launcher.

I cured it by deleting them.

Thinking about it I should of saved it and sent it over to you, sorry.

FYI, I'm using Frodo 12.1 on Win 8 x64.

Sorry to waste your time replying.

I was not able to reproduce your problem with Chrome on my Windows system (using Windows 8, XBMC 12.1, Advanced Launcher 1.13.1 and Chrome 26.0.1410.43 m). Always only single tab is opened into Chrome. There must be something wrong on your system configuration.

I have also testes the favourites, but all is also working correctly. If the RunPlugin() tips is not working, try to replace it by PlayMedia(). But in my case, both are able to start Chrome from favourites. Are you starting these favourites from XBMC list of from a skin shortcut entry/menu? Also, are you sure that your favourites still pointing to an existing launcher?

(2013-04-03, 22:50)pettergulbra Wrote: But now I have another problem. When I sit and make the launchers, XBMC/AL hangs and every launcher I have made disappears.
That's a common problem with Frodo. To correct this and recover your launchers, use the restore backup feature of Advanced Launcher. For this, go into Advanced Launcher add-on settings > Backup/Debug > Load a Backup launchers.xml file and select the launchers.xml file before the problem occurs. Backup files name are under this format : YYYYMMDD-HHMMSS-MILLISEC-launchers.xml.

(2013-04-03, 22:50)pettergulbra Wrote: Here is the log, from when it happend.. Not funny when I have made 6 of them..... LOG
Your log file shows errors from : script.traktr, weather.worldweatheronline and script.favourites. That could generate instabilites into XBMC. The error message related to Advanced Launcher is due to the fact that your launcher list have been deleted.

It is also possible to create a .lnk file pointing to chrome.exe with the url page as command line argument.

I do not really understand your problem : .Roaming\XBMC\userdata\addon_data\plugin.program.advanced.launcher\backups only contain the backups of the launchers.xml file. Each time you modify the launchers.xml file (adding/editing/deleting a launcher or an item) a backup if made. Maybe the RCB NFO file strucuture have changed, and cannot be imported with actual version of Advanced Launcher.
