Hello ,
I rather new to this and I really wanted to use this addon. The problem is that in my xbmc the addon is marked as "broken" what does that mean , How can I install it.
I use openelec with the last Version of Eden ( autoupdate enabled) .

You will need to install the one from the first page(install zip file) and give it a try again.

Not sure if the Movie Quiz script works with Cinema Experience. The slides need to be in a folder, if the slides are Q&A slides, they need to have their own sub folder. Just another questions , are there some documentary about the home automation. Or even better some finished projects? How can I use this with openelec ?

There is documentation regarding home automation and this script, including a fully functional home_automation.py for the script as well.

Hi I have a simple question or more. I'm getting ready to implement this but I have some confusion concerning file names for the video files that go into their respective folders. I would like to know if I have to, or should rename files that go into for example, Movie Theatre Intro. If I wanted the files Curtain and another file Feature Presentation in the same folder, would CE play them in order? As to say, Curtain - Feature Presentation - Movie.........? And also can it randomize the videos say for Coming Attractions Intro/Outro or Intermissions? Also, (I know I'm asking a lot lol) For Audio, should the files have the type of sound in the file name? For example: Dolby TrueHD 5.1 is the sound output for the movie but the file name is Broadway 2010.vob (example from http://www.demo-world.eu/trailers/high-definition-trailers.php). Leave as is or make it like this....Broadway 2010 Dolby TrueHD 5.1.vob ? I've tried searching and didn't come up with a clear answer or just didn't use a good search term. Any help to clarify this is greatly appreciated.

The only files that require special consideration to the file name is Local Trailers. They need '-trailer'. All others are chosen by folders that are set in the settings. Audio intros are special since they require properly named sub folders, the main folder can be named anything.
The folder layout on the first page is a good pattern to follow(especially the Audio)

I've got a problem with cinema experience. I installed everything correct and have the right folder structure. The only problem is that the actual movie doesn't start after the intro's and trailers. it says ''can't find a next item to play''. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I have second problem. I use eden version with dsplayer and cinema experience 2.0.53. When i disable dsplyaer and i use internal player for my home movie (2 trailers (local trailer with hd download) and after the movie) they are no problem. But when i activate dsplayer i have the first trailer but after this my pc freeze or go to movie selection.
It's very hard to chose in dsplayer (with ffsdshow) and cinema experience. Please help meeeeeeeeee!!!!

The new script works fine! now the movie starts.
i've got another question. I would like some 1080p intro's for XBMC. Does anyone know where i can find those? All the links i found are on megaupload, but it doesnt work anymore

Also, before, when it was working 50% of the time, it would only hang at the end of the first trailer. If I skipped right before the first trailer ended, the second and the third would play just fine. But now, if I skip the first one, it hangs at the end of the second one.

When it hangs, it just displays the final frame of the video. The only way to stop it is to press the "skip" button on the remote and it returns to the library.
Any ideas??
CE is absolutely my favorite script and I only care about the trailers really. It pains me that I cannot use it.

I had written a few posts on here about the streaming trailers not working with CE even if they are the only things that play. It was getting stuck on the last frame of the first trailer.
I think I found the culprit: TV Shows - Next Aired addon
It all started when I put openelec on a stick just to test it. I noticed CE worked with no problems. I tried it on a couple of other computers and it still worked. Then on one of those computers, I installed xbmc in win 7 and CE worked again. Then I started wondering why it didn't work on my main htpc under win 7 and I did something I hadn't done in a long time. I deleted my xbmc user folder (well, actually renamed it :-) and started from scratch.
To my surprise, CE worked just fine.Then I started adding some of the addons that I frequently use, and after adding TV Shows - Next Aired and turning on its integration within Transparency, CE no longer worked. Uninstalling it fixed CE again.
I will do further testing tonight, but I am 95% sure that TV Shows - Next Aired possibly integration into Transparency menus prevents CE from running properly. I am ecstatic that I got CE to work properly again after almost 2 years, with trivia and all.
