Hi !
i'm a french user of Xbian (or RaspBMC, i try both) which are made for the raspberry Pi.
Xbian and RaspBMC works fine.
I could install Grooveshark from the addon Menu. It seems to be the 1.0.6 version.
I configure it with my user/pass of my grooveshark account (normal, not premium).
But, when i try to log me in, i have the "Unable to log in, please check the config...". And next, it shows me the menu with "Popular song", etc...
But, when i try popular song, i got the message : Script failure plugin.audio.grooveshark...
Why ? :/
I just want grooveshark for my playlist

You need a Grooveshark Anywhere account. In the next version I'll try to tidy up the error reporting.

Hi, I´ve got a problem I have a Anywhere account and no unicode symbols in my playlist, but when I start the plugin and klick on playlist it just says you don´t have any playlists, I´ve always had this problem with this plugin and therefore only used the other Grooveshark addon until it stopped working, do you any suggestions what I am doing wrong ?

Please can you switch on debug in the addon's settings, try to view your playlists and then post the xbmc.log?

It looks like you haven't been logged in. Please try deleting the session.dmp file from the addon data directory (see http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Userdata) and then try again.

Thanks for the quick response, but when I search addon data dir, there is no session.dmp only duration.dmp and songs.dmp could that be why it doesn´t work and if so how can I fix it?

Ok, please can paste your complete log (see http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Log_file#In_the_forums_and_IRC) covering a period that includes starting Grooveshark.
Also, can you confirm that you have a Grooveshark Anywhere subscription?

Fixing some errors loading playlists - hsermeno - 2013-03-07
I have playlists with some non-english characters and I was consistently getting an error trying to load the list of playlists. After looking at the xbmc.log I found that it had to do with the conversion on line 559 of GrooversharkAPI.py
list.append([str(s['PlaylistName']).encode('utf8', 'ignore'), s['PlaylistID']])
Changing this to
list.append([unicode(s['PlaylistName']).encode('utf8', 'ignore'), s['PlaylistID']])
fixed the problem for me.
