For me, I have the app on my phone. I really need to remove a favorite from it, I put it there on accident and can't get it out. Help me. Please.

The context menu will have an option to remove. Favourites (wiki)
Please start up your own thread should you need to ask a question.

Absolutely Correct.
To remove a favorite whatever , you use the context menu, and from there everything, is academic

But there is a major problem if you have previously installed ' Super Favorites '. And especially if you have included "Super Favorites" as a Favorite, then things are getting hectic, and you cannot modify your Favorite list, or to be more specific, ' modification of the .Favorite List ' is not being manipulated correctly.
I am the victim of this ' malfunctioning ' .
I was cooked, and finally I had to restore from a backup I had kept.
Now the installation - again - of the Super Favorites , as far as I am concerned, looks rather questionable, although it is a very practical add-on.

There may have been a point in SF that led you to believe you couldn't recover, but like a lot of add-ons.. there is a risk.

Thanks for your reply.
Just before restoring the backup, I uninstalled SF.
The problem was left with the Favorites, as it was showing eg. 3 items, and there was no way I could have delete these entries. In other words, the context menu, did not function. NOTHING.no menu was popping up.
Any way, what happened, happened.
I am trying to protect myself for the next round.

Not to defend SF, but at one point when changing installs or backing up the messages I saw was to ensure SF was decommissioned prior. It' is a tricky add-on but it's probably one of the reasons to use it. Anything that changes the way Kodi works is going to have consequences some unforeseen.
