xbmc cant play videos: fps ~9.6 - masterburger - 2010-12-26
I have a weird problem, xbmc cant play any videos. All the menus and so on works but some how the videos does not. Xbmc runs the video but the screen is black and fps is about 9-10 and time does not go forward. Also xbmc does not change refresh rate, xbmc plays all videos with 60hz. Adjust display refresh rate to match video is on and sync playback to display is on.

My computers specs:
Asrock ion330 with win xp sp3 32bit
nvidia drivers 6.14.11.8634
I have tryed these XBMC versions but every one has same problem:
xbmc-r33324-Dharma_beta1.exe
xbmc-r35567-Dharma_rc2.exe
xbmc-10.0.exe

Some how vdpau is missing from render methods. Maybe this is the problem? There is only pixel shaders and software.

You are running windows. vdpau is linux only. Run xbmc live.

Also, if you want to use windows and have hardware acceleration (DXVA2) you need vista or win7.
