Eddage Wrote:Ok, sorry, didn't really think it was worthy of it's own thread and figured that as it was a direct mod of your skin the best place for help would be here.

I'll set up a thread in the skin development forum soon (damn, I quess this means I'll have to come up with a name...)

np, just realize that as soon if you open a thread there the eta questions will come and won't stop till released Wink

EDIT:
Oh and to answer your question, that is include Neon_Floor in Includes_Viewtypes.xml, which is in Furniture_Showcase include.

That's another reason I didn't want to start a thread :p

With regards to the name, since I am editing your version of aeon, should I call it aeon nox something? I was thinking of the name "breeze" so it would be "Aeon Nox Breeze" or would "Aeon Breeze" suffice? Don't want to tread on anyone's toes and people should really know that all I'm doing is editing some pre-existing code that you spent god knows how long putting together!

Edit: And thanks for answer!

Since it's not designed to look like Aeon (at least judging from the screens) I think I would just call it Breeze, which is a very catching name btw.
You can of course mention Aeon Nox in the credits.

Ok, sounds good.

Also I wouldn't dream of not mentioning Nox in the credits!

Ya know, I never thought to check the first post (Oops)!

Thanks for taking the time to answer, especially given it was a dupe (and for the fix) Smile

Hello Big_Noid,

Is this already available in this form. Cause when I use the infolist view, it really doesn't look as good as this. Is the light floor available? If so, where do you add this?

Thanks,
Grave

Just passed by to say that this skin is awesome, the first skin that I really like outside Alaska Revisited, great work! Thanks for sharing it!

I think it's only available for pre-eden xbmc and Git version of the skin.
Probably not yet as official release or for xbmc 10.1 dharma

Big_Noid Wrote:It is now integrated in the skin. So depending on what version you are using you can download it here for dharma and here for eden-pre.

Brilliant Smile I like this addition, I think it's fun to see all the icons atop.

Probably a very simple question for someone but I seem to be having a nightmare with it. I have install XBMC live and installed AEON from the standard skin download but when trying to add items to the menu I get "Cant find favourites.xml" so I created a favourites.xml file and now I get "Error Script.favourites".

I downloaded the favourites 1.0.6 script and tried to install from zip but nothing happens.

Am I best installing the nightly version will this all be included.

Thanks

**EDIT** I found a fix to basically all the issues I was having, when I went into the skin setting and chose set reccomended options is fixed a lot of the strange quirks that I was having and the infopanel view is now fixed. I have a new question but I'll do a new post for that one ***

I tried searching and didn't seem to find what I was looking for, the problem I'm having is when I am using the Showcase view in my movies category I am getting a blank infopanel that asks me to choose a layout, if I go into the layout section it comes up with the 4 choices on the right but no matter how I try to select them the setting never seems to take effect. I have some screenshots of what's it looks like and the version of the skin I'm using, downloaded from the passion repository.

and the version information for the skin in use

I absolutely love the skin and really hope to get that feature working. One more thing, in the older version of the skin in this view if I hit the down arrow it would allow me to quickly move the scrolbar through the movie list and show a letter indicating where it was in the movie list, that seems to be gone, and before if I hit down a couple times the entire interface would go away and show an unobstructed view of the fanart background, that doesn't seem to happen in this view anymore*** Nevermind, dug around and found that setting***, are those intentional changes or do i have a work in progress version that just isn't finished yet?

I have also tried updating XBMC to 11.0 but still have the same issues. I am about to reload again. So still need advice on the favourites.xml but also if install the latest version of the skin do I want to keep XBMC on 10.1 or upgrade to 11.0

As my prior post indicated I got most of my issues completely fixed and am loving the skin more and more.

The question I have now is if there is a way to change the screen that comes up when you press info while watching a movie to be more like the pause screen instead of the full screen info screen. What I'd be looking for is that pressing info while watching a movie brings up an overlay just like the pause overlay and maybe pressing up while that overlay is on screen would open the full screen info overlay.

Well just wondering if that's possible, if it's something I could try and do myself etc. The full screen info overlay is great when in movie listing mode but during playback it would be nice to get the less obtrusive pause overlay for basic info.

Thanks again for the work you've done on the skin, it is really something.
