Logo Downloader (the end of it as we know it)

- Martijn - 2011-12-27

Revenge Wrote:Im not seing the TV Logo Script in the Nox 2.0.
Its there, or it was removed?

It was removed due to merging several script scripts.
You now need Artwork Downloader. You can find it in under programs in the xbmc addons repo.
Or download it from here downloads

It can be used from the video info screen or run from the programs section.

If you had 'Extrafanart Downloader' this needs to be removed also.

@sergiocos
You just beat me Wink

The proper way is:
http://trac.xbmc.org/
Log in with your forum username/password and create ticket.
Provided as much information as possible. Maybe include a full debug log while scraping that movie. Use http://www.pastebin.com for your log file.

AD = Artwork Downloader

Done. Thank you.

Here the ticket : http://trac.xbmc.org/ticket/12360 (Feel free to add more informations)

PS:

I found another problem.

Is it normal for example in "DVD Case" view, with the "layout" displayed (Up key) then the navigation is not smooth anymore... (little latency).

Someone noted the same problem ?

Skin problem ? ( Smile )

PSS:

Ticket created about "Home menu refresh" problem after the Aeon Nox installation.

Now that Beta 1 and Aeon Nox 2.0 are out: is it wiser to switch to 2.0 or just stay with Aeon Nox SVN from Passion Repo?

If you are happy with SVN you can stay with that. That will stay up-to-date with the latest changes from BN. If you want a stable version go for 2.0

If you mean navigating when the infopanel is set to off and then press up and then navigate, yeah that might be slower. It's because you are navigating outside the actual list. That feature is more of a gimmick really.

Passion has more frequent updates, but no themes and things could break overnight. Official is stable and has themes.
At this point there won't be major updates everyday anymore. Most things I wanted to change/improve I have done and it's now a matter of ironing out the leftover bugs in time for eden final. So there won't be very much difference between passion skin and official visually.

Not sure if this a bug , but on the main menu the custom backgrounds occasionally go black and don't return till the menu is refreshed, it's not a huge problem just a minor annoyance

I'm loving the skin. Pretty and easy to use.

I have one minor suggestion, however: The volume indicator (which pops up when you adjust the volume) could use some improvement in the choice of colours/shades. The colours of the bar/box (left/right, filled/unfilled, foreground/background) parts are so similar that it's difficult to tell them apart. Sometimes when I adjust the volume, I can't tell if it's at 100% or anywhere lower than that. It would be an improvement to have stronger contrast for the bar or different colours altogether.

Thanks, I'll stick to Passion then. Not only do I not use themes, I've got SVN set up the way I want. I'd need to redo that for the 2.0 (and cleanup my guisettings.xml to remove SVN leftovers).

Is there any way to add more the 5 submenu items?

- dscraw4d - 2011-12-29

Also is there anyway to have custom backgrounds for submenus?

I personally like the style of progress bar in the pop up dialogs, but I can see that it might not be the clearest distinction. I might make an option to have a more standard progress bar on the popup dialogs.

Not without manual xml editing. I have no plans to add more.

Not without manual xml editing. I have no plans to add this. I think it's confusing and distracting to have different backgrounds for submenus.

I use a script called rating update. This scripts basically updates all movies series with new ratings from imdb. It also adds the # of the top250 to the movie.

Like this:

On my mac (10.7 eden b1) this works fine but on my xbmclive boxes (ubuntu 11.10 eden b1) the top250 number is displayed scrambled and is unreadable. Any idea why?

Thanks Smile
