hama or VCR 1100 remote - jwmail - 2011-01-25 Hi all, I'm about to buy a Zotac HD-ID11 to run either XBMC Live or OpenElec ( most likely the latter) and I'm looking for a remote. There are two devices widely available on Ebay and Amazon, the Hama and the VCR-100. Looking at the photo's the Hama and VCR 110 look identical Going through the wiki I found that the VRC 110 (http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Remote_Control_Reviews#Unbranded_MCE_remote) should work out of the box with Linux. But I also read that to get the Hama (http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Hama_MCE_Remote) working, there is quit some tweaking needed. Could anyone tel me if they are different and will either one work with Live/OpenElec? Thanks in advance. JW |
