Keyboard shortcuts to navigate weather locations? - protogen - 2011-01-26 I was wondering if there are any keyboard shortcuts to navigate between the 3 different weather locations? Or any way to set keyboard shortcuts for that action? Having to navigate to the little up/down arrows takes quite a few remote control key presses. I'd like to be able to set, for example, page up/page down to cycle through the 3 locations. - ronie - 2011-01-26 sure, map this command to one of your keys: Control.Message(3,movedown) - protogen - 2011-01-26 Brilliant! Works perfectly. Thank you. Your response has got me thinking and I have a few questions... Which control is id="3" in the weather window? Is it the little up/down buttons? Are they button controls or a spin control? How did you know the id of this control - by trawling through code, or is there some reference table/manual? As you've probably guessed, I've been reading these... http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=XBMC_Skinning_Manual http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Controls - ronie - 2011-01-26 protogen Wrote:Brilliant! Exactly the info I was looking for. Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime. Now, I'll be able to work out the answer to these kinds of questions myself in future. Cheers! |
